Seawind 403: Updated, child friendly Beachfront, Best location in Gulf Shores

Seawind 403: Recently updated 3 BR (Two kings bedrooms + a bunk room) 2 bath- direct ocean front 4th floor-child friendly luxury!

This condo is under new ownership in 2020 in the popular Seawind Resort in Gulf Shores. It has many recent upgrades, and is a beach front condo with balcony, 3 bedroom (2 full bedrooms plus bunk room with 2 bunk beds) and 2 baths. The master bath was recently updated with a huge walk in shower. The 4th floor is the perfect floor, not too high, not too low, and the balcony has direct views of the ocean and can be accessed from both the living area and the Master Bedroom. It has a King size bed in the master, a KIng size bed in the guest room, and a bunk room with two twin bunks for the kids. You'll also be amazed by the comfort of the queen size sleeper sofa with it's new, thicker memory foam mattress. It is remarkably comfortable. The unit sleeps 8 total. We have a keyless entry system, so there's no waiting to check-in! There is free Wireless Internet as well.

The living room has new furniture and opens to the gulf-front balcony. It has a new 58 inch 4K Roku smart TV for all your streaming apps, as well as cable and DVD player. The dining area has new furniture and seats 9 (6 at the table and 3 at the bar).

The Master bedroom, which opens to a gulf-front balcony, has a King bed, new 50 inch Samsung 4K smart TV for streaming videos, cable TV, ceiling fan, private bathroom with granite counters, and new updated walk in shower. There is also a large walk-in closet that is big enough to use as a child's quiet sleeping area if you use the available pack and play.

The Guest bedroom has a King size bed and adjoins to the second bath, which has a tub/shower combo. This bedroom has a ceiling fan, large flat screen HDTV with Roku for streaming video apps, cable TV, and a DVD player.

The bunk room is perfect for kids or teens to have their own space to relax. It has it's own door to close for privacy/quiet. It has a twin bunk bed with new comfortable mattresses and a flatscreen HDTV with Roku for streaming video apps, cable TV, and a DVD player as well.

We have stocked the condo with an assortment of toys and games for different ages to enjoy. There are also beach chairs and sand toys to use. For those with very small children, we have provided a pack and play with a mattress protector for extra cushion and sheets for it. There is a high chair you can use, if needed, that straps onto a dining chair. We have some blocks for small children to play with, toys and books for a those a bit older as well, and board games for teens too.

The kitchen, with updated appliances and granite counters, is fully stocked for your convenience in case you want to make your meals in the room. In addition to the normal pots, pans, and baking sheets, there is a crock pot, hand mixer, toaster, blender, and coffee makers.

There is a full size washer and dryer in the unit in a separate laundry room, iron, and ironing board if needed.

The Seawind is located directly on the beach. No need to cross any busy roads to go to beach. It is probably the most convenient location in Gulf Shores. It is adjacent the only "over-the-beach" seafood restaurant/pier in the area, "Sea and Suds" which we highly recommend. The Hang Out (Music, Food and Fun-check out their website for scheduled events, concerts etc.) and the public pier at Gulf State Park are all within an easy walking distance. Directly across the street from the Seawind is Surf Style, which has everything you might need. Beach supplies, groceries, and any essentials you may need doesn't even require getting in a car. Just walk across the street. In addition, fun activities such as parasailing, banana tubing, and jetski rental is also directly on the beach at the Seawind.

This condo has an indoor/outdoor heated pool, hot tub, and a fantastic Zero entry Splash pad for the little ones with spraying fountains that kids love. The Fitness Center is one of the largest, nicest fitness center in Gulf Shores, and has a large private bath with lockers. This makes for a great way to extend your stay a little longer on the day of checkout. After checkout, you could still spend the day on the beach and then go to the Fitness center and get showered and change into clean clothes before heading out. The Fitness Center has large windows facing the Gulf, top-notch exercise equipment, as well as a sauna. There is also a BBQ area with grills for your use. There are three levels of covered, convenient parking with 2 elevators adds to the ease of getting to your relaxing vacation!

One plus for this unit is that it's only one floor up from the top level parking if you don't like using/waiting on an elevator.

There is also an ice vending machine, payable by credit card, located in the parking garage on the first floor which makes loading up the cooler super convenient.

Bigger stores such as Wal-mart, Target, Publix , and Winn- Dixie are all just minutes away, as is every kind of food you might desire.

Golf enthusiasts have several wonderful courses to choose from in the area. The shopping mecca, Foley Outlet Mall, is 10 miles away and The Wharf retail shopping area is 7 miles away in nearby Orange Beach. There are many amusements for the whole family in the surrounding area and too many places to eat to list them all! Gulf Shores is a very family-friendly, packed with lots to do, but with that "small town feel" kind of place.



There are a maximum of 2 cars allowed in the parking garage for our unit. A parking pass is required for each vehicle and must be purchased by the renter upon arrival at the 2nd floor front desk or guard shack for $50/each pass- it is good for the length of your stay. This rate is subject to change by the Association and is paid to them through credit card only. This pass must be displayed whenever your vehicle is parked on the property.

The 24 hour security staff provided by the condo are outstanding.

The Seawind is a Non-Smoking/no vaping Property. This includes not only each condo, but the balcony as well. There are designated smoking areas away from any indoor/outdoor common areas.

Although we love animals too, this is a no pets complex. This is vigorously enforced by the Seawind. If you are found with a pet on the premises, you will be subject to immediate eviction. DO NOT Bring your pet!

Hurricane Policy:

If there is a storm or hurricane, no refunds will be given unless:

The state or local authorities order mandatory evacuations in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area" and/or

A "mandatory evacuation order has been given for the Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning" area of residence of a vacationing guest.

The day that the authorities order a mandatory evacuation order in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning," area, we will refund:

-Any unused portion of rent from a guest currently registered;

-Any unused portion of rent from a guest that is scheduled to arrive, and wants to shorten the stay, to come in after the Hurricane Warning is lifted; and

-Any advance rents collected or deposited for a reservation that is scheduled to arrive during the "Hurricane Warning" period.
