Stay in the middle of it all! Bring the family and come enjoy your peaceful stay at the adorably decorated Starfish Cottage. Cottage may be in the name, but it's far from a cottage with the large layout of the home. Starfish cottage is fully furnished with all new furniture and bedding with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, laundry room kitchen and dining room. Livingroom has a beach view with matching leather reclining sofa and chairs. Master bedroom has a king bed AND a day bed, plenty of closet space for your luggage and clothes, with large master bathroom that has a jetted tub and separate shower. Second bedroom has a queen bed and storage for your belongings. Third room has full size mattress bunkbeds with a twin size pull out trundle bed. Dining room has a nice table that seats 6. Kitchen has all new appliances and granite counter tops. Enjoy your morning coffee and view on the front porch. Have a great afternoon grilling your freshly caught seafood in the backyard by the saltwater pool with plenty of seating around the pool. 1 block from the beach. 2 miles from downtown Gulfport, Jones Park, and the newly opened Mississippi Gulfport Aquarium. 2 miles from downtown Long Beach. This home is sure to make great memories for the whole family. Starfish Cottage is in a cute, quiet and safe neighborhood with great neighbors. FREE parking on site & FREE Wi-Fi throughout the home

Family retreat
The house was absolutely everything that was promised. Plenty of room for all. We had everything we needed with local access to groceries. One of the easiest vacation trips I have taken.

Amazing, laid back stay!
The Starfish was amazing! The decor was beautiful! I loved the vibe of the house. Everything was so clean and well stocked. The pool was clean and perfect. We spent many hours in the pool just relaxing. Lynn was the most accommodating and responsive host. We had a question or two and she responds in minutes. The house was in a convenient, relaxing, and quiet location. The restaurants in town are 10/10. We would come back in a heartbeat next time we visit family in the area.

Quick holiday getaway
The house is precious and in a great neighborhood and perfect for a quick getaway for family and friends. It was easy to get in/out & was close proximity to beach & aquarium & other activities. The rental company was very responsive in communication. The pool was the very best part! No bells and whistles, but it stayed cool the entire time and was such a treat.

Our beach house

Beautiful home in Gulfport
nice 3 bedroom home, with view of the water. Close to restaurants, and hwy 90. Great location. Loved the master bedroom, and 2nd bedroom with queen bed, but with 3 couples the 3rd bedroom was a challenge with the bunk beds, but it was a great stay. Host was very nice and we hope to be back next year! Thank you!

Sibling Retreat
Our overall stay was good at this property. Mainly because it allowed my family to be all at one location. The “cottage” left much to be desired though. Our first impression left us apprehensive because the back door handrails on the stairs were wobbly and unsafe. It appeared it hadn’t been rented for awhile and/or upkeep hadn’t been done. Inside the floors had rolling dust bunnies and left our socks filthy not to mention the windows had cob webs and bugs entangled in them. The showers were a joke. Other than being extremely small they had mold and the doors did not close properly. We could not wait until we got home to take a decent shower. The kitchen, dining room and living room were nice enough although some outlets did not work. The pool liner was moldy and pulling away from the edges and metal rims were rusted and unsightly. There was so much debris at the bottom of the pool and in the skimmer it was obvious it hadn’t been cleaned throughout our stay. Also, the wash machine hadn’t been cleaned. This was evident by old detergent pods being placed in the wrong compartment and had to be cleaned out prior to use. Overall we thought we could have rented a much better upkept home.

The Perfect Getaway
(I MADE THIS REVIEW THE DAY WE HAD LEFT AND SOMEHOW DIDN'T POST IM SO SORRY) OUR STAY FROM THE VERY BEGINING WAS A VACATION TO REMEMBER ! FROM THE TIME WE FIRST WALKED IN IT WAS A FEELING OF COMFORT ! IT WAS SUPPER CLEAN AND HAD EVERYTHING I NEEDED OR WOULD HAVE NEEDED. WE HONESTLY HAD THE BEST TIME AND DIDNT WANT TO LEAVE THANK YOU SO MUCH !
