"der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war sehr nett und angenehm. Obwohl wir es nicht in der vereinbarten Zeit geschafft haben einzuchecken war es sehr unkompliziert. Es gab tolles Wasser und eine Obstkorb in der Wohnung. Wir fühlten uns sehr gut aufgehoben. Zudem war die Wohnen sehr schöne und sauber. Die Treppe nach oben war wie es in alten Häusern ist sehr schmal und steil, für uns überhaupt kein Problem."

"Wir waren zu siebt in der Wohnung und sind wunderbar klar gekommen. Als noch einmal Bettwäsche für die Person auf dem Sofa fehlte wurde sie uns gleich gebracht. Gute Lage mit 10 Minuten Fußweg vom Bahnhof und auch Parkplätzen in der Straße. Die Wohnung ist frisch renoviert und gemütlich und modern eingerichtet. "When I originally booked my stay, comments from previous guests described the decor as old and outdated. I found the opposite. The building is old (German poet Schiller once stayed there), but the room was modern throughout with walk in shower and staff very professional and polite. Breakfast was very good, and the hotel is right on the market square in the heart of the city within easy walking distance of everything. A farmer’s market is in the market square in front of the hotel several times a week as well as a stand with Thuringian bratwurst. A tourist info center by the market square next to city hall (Rathaus) was very helpful. I highly recommend the Adler Hotel in Rudolstadt."

"A beautiful hotel in an ideal location in a gorgeous small city filled with cultural wonders. My room, in the older part of the hotel, was elegant and spacious. Front desk and cleaning staff were unfailingly helpful. I would return without question. My only recommendation to the house is to consider a new mattress for the room. It had become a bit…topographical."

"Die kommunikationsfreudige Gastgeberin war immer zur Stelle. Der Lattenrost des einen Bettes hat jede Drehung kommentiert. Ansonsten war es nachts erfreulich ruhig.Wir konnten gemütlich auf der Terrasse hinter dem Haus frühstücken. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet mit Herd, Backofen und Micro. Bei der Wärme haben wir es sehr genossen, draußen zu sitzen.Weimar war unser eigentliches Ziel, eine 30 min. Fahrt bringt einen ans Ziel.Im Sommer gerne wieder! Vielen Dank."

"Rooms need either air conditioning or better ceiling fans. When it gets hot, there is no way to get proper airflow. If you open the windows, the insects will come inside your room. Please also add a microwave to the rooms. Shower was clogged with hair and the water could not evacuate. I had to unclog the shower otherwise the water level would have risen and gone into the bedroom area."
