Perfect pre-Thanksgiving getaway!

Snakes

We could not use outdoor space because the grass was overgrown and we were told that there were snakes in the tall grass. We brought it to the attention of the manager who agreed that there were snakes and that the grass would be cut.

Another Wonderful Stay!

We have stayed at this property for the past four years and we had another great stay the week leading up to Thanksgiving. My wife and I and our two teenage children love the property and the living space is perfect for a family of four. We look forward to staying there in the future.

Great Thanksgiving retreat

Nancy’s home was immaculately clean and roomy. Plenty of space for a family of 4. The hot tub was a nice bonus and there were plenty of hiking trails nearby. We would absolutely return for another visit!

We returned for a second year and it was incredible!

Great Location and accommodation

Didn’t realized how big this community was, it has all the necessary amenities. The house was great and close drive to the lake beach and pools. The check-in process was unique for me but not cumbersome. Nancy was very accommodating and provided the needed information to ensure we had a perfect weekend stay.

Great house/Great location/Great owner!

My wife and I and our two children (ages 9 and 12) decided to take a trip prior to the Thanksgiving holiday. We enjoyed everything about the property. The location was perfect for proximity to hiking trails/state parks and the kids enjoyed riding their bikes around the development and to the lake. The house was clean, well stocked, and extremely comfortable. The fire pit and hot tub are great amenities after a long day of hiking and bike riding! We highly recommend this property for much needed family getaways.

Imaculate; Accomadating; and Relaxing

An absolutely wonderful home, accomadating in every way! Beautifully furnished with plenty of space. The Kitchen and Outdoor Grill provided everything needed to prepare the evening meal after a fun filled day at the lakes and pool. The hot tub was absolutley relaxing, providing a beautiflul view of the summer night sky while erasing all stress, and entertainment was abounding with multiple tv's with many choices for young and old alike! A great get away for all with all the comforts of home and then some!

Great house Great location

We stayed with our son and his family. The kids loved the pools and fishing at the lake. The property was very clean. The host was very responsive to questions. We had 4 adults and 2 kids 6 & 9. Only issue was there wasn’t enough pots to really cook for all of us. But overall excellent would definitely stay there again. I would just make a different menu lol.

A nest fit for a queen

It was a pleasure staying with Nancy and her nest. She is extremely easy to work with and great at communicating. The house I have to stress is very clean! Fully stocked with kitchen items you might need, but again, everything was very clean upon arrival. Beds were comfy, firepit was large and had great seating, as well as a great grill. The family of 8 were very comfortable here. The hot tub was very clean and I want to stress this because our other family members stayed in the same arrowhead complex and their house had a hot tub that was dirty and required maintenance. Nancy's Nest took all the worry out of vacationing and allowed us to enjoy ourselves. Also the house is in a great location in regards to the pools and beaches. 5 star all the way!

Lovely Getaway Spot

We loved Nancy’s Nest! We were a group of four college friends getting together from all over. We had another VRBO booked that fell through, but I’m so glad we found Nancy’s place! Nancy was helpful and friendly from the jump - she provided us with all the information we needed and was available whenever we had questions. The house was roomy, very clean, and had all we needed. The beds and sitting areas were very comfortable, and it was great having the rooms on different floors for a bit of privacy. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and cooking tools, plus some cleaning supplies from previous renters. The hot tub was perfect after a cold day of skiing, and the fire place made the living room so cozy! The house was very convenient to skiing, restaurants, and the outlet mall. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would love to visit again if we’re in the area!

Immaculate

No dust anywhere. Nothing worn. Spotless windows and mirrors. All perfect condition. Lots of hangers in the closet. Dishwasher pods and washing machine detergent were found. Paper towels, toilet paper, sponges, hand sanitizer, liquid hand soap, dishwashing liquid, and paper hand towels were stocked or left behind by previous renters. House nicely laid out for maximum use.. Shelves for bathroom toiletries. Central Air works nicely. Lots of TV channels.

Friends for a Lifetime Reunion

We were a group of 8 senior citizens who have been friends since elementary school. Because of COVID, we have not been able to get together and this was the first time we were reuniting in a few years. I was the organizer for the group and I was concerned about everybody being happy with the property. There was no need to worry. The house was perfect for our group. The home is quite lovely and very clean. The hot tub was a great addition for a group of people with "old bones". Appliances were updated and the open concept of the kitchen, living and dining areas made it extremely easy for us to be together throughout the day. Nancy was a wonderful host who was very responsive to all the questions that I had before arriving. Because everything was in such great condition in the house, we did not need to contact Nancy while we were there but she contacted me the day that we checked out to be sure that everything went well. I highly recommend this property.

Quiet, Relaxing, Clean, and Comfortable

This home was so clean and orderly, comfortable, well decorated, and inviting. It is tranquil and quiet. We enjoyed many attractions while visiting as It is close to the lake, Pocono Raceway (which is why we went- to enjoy the Lantern Festival held at the racetrack). We also took in hiking trails, conservation trails to explore, antique shops and flea markets. It is also close to Jim Thorpe-cute town to visit. While the weather was chilly to white water raft in Jim Thorpe, we did Zipline which was awesome! I also noticed this home is near skiing areas! This home is nestled in a private secure gated community that features pools, tennis courts, basketball courts and more, while we did not use them, we visited and were impressed with the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the amenities the community has. We enjoyed the beautiful fireplace on chilly fall nights and the hot tub to watch the falling stars at night. The kitchen was thoroughly stocked with items needed and a very nice spacious dining table to enjoy meals, games and family time. Wifi as well as televisions throughout keep us in the loop of life while vacationing! A small deck off of the master bedroom was the perfect place to enjoy a muffin and cup of coffee in the morning. The owner was available for all questions and responded very promptly to the simplest of questions. I would stay again at this house and highly recommend it!!!!
