“This is such a gem of a property. It's in a great location, secluded but only a 10 minute walk to Bedgelert. The house is beautiful and well equipped, the views are stunning and an added bonus is the steam train goes right by the front garden, with a second glimpse out of the side window as it loops back round. To access the property you need to open two gates and cross the railway line, which was perfectly safe but just took a bit of extra time. Instructions from the host were very clear and we……

“Fabulous stay at the Mountain View property. Perfectly located in Dolgellau to either take local walks or drive further afield. Candy & Marcus were perfect hosts, quickly responding to any questions. House was very clean and well appointed to make our stay enjoyable. Wonderful views looking out over the village to the valley and mountains beyond. Highly recommended.”

“We can't say enough about our stay here. We stayed for 6 nights and wished we had booked longer. The house is beautiful with wonderful views of the sea. A deck to relax on and watch/listen to the water. Large kitchen with most everything you need. Just outside of Barmouth and convenient to Snowdon (by car), or train to the south. Or just hang out in Barmouth and the beach. If it's available, you won't regret booking here!”

Wonderful views from a totally secluded garden over the roof tops to the sea.Everything we could need had been thought of and a very nice ‘goodie box’ on arrival.Access from the car parking area to the back door and from there down to the lower garden levels not easy for one with limited mobility, no problem for able bodied though.The garden room was a delightful space.Great access to the station in the village with trains right through from Birmingham……
