Rooms were spacious for 2 people with 2 medium suitcases. About a 15 min bus ride from the main station. Hotel has an old charm too, but some areas in the room are showing it's age. The bed was way too soft and didn't feel like a real mattress. This was our biggest complaint and because of this will not be staying at this hotel again. The on-site restaurant offers a good selection for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Within walking distance you have a variety of grocery stores, restaurants, and shops. Location is the selling point, the furniture and bedding is where is falls short.

We experienced an excellent 3 day break for 2. Nice clean room, friendly staff, dinner menu quite restricted but delicious - Chef's special a must. The hotel was perfect for visiting the area, inland or beach a bus drive away. Quiet surroundings in a fairly built up area but away from the bustle of Amsterdam. Reasonably priced for such a good quality hotel. Just note, when checking out you'll be hit with a "City Tax" Worth asking what this will be when you arrive. Apart from that, all good.

The hotel had a lovely lobby, the restaurant was great, they gave you free drinks in the restaurant if you didn't want your room cleaned. The location was great, east walk to the centre of town and groceries and also right across from a lovely walking park. Very quiet and beds were great.
