Welcome to Hahei Getaway, a spacious and relaxed holiday home designed for families and friends looking to enjoy everything Hahei and the Coromandel have to offer.
With three bedrooms and three bathrooms, everyone can enjoy their own space and privacy making the home particularly well suited to three couples, families or groups of friends travelling together.
The space
The heart of Hahei Getaway is the generous open-plan kitchen, dining and living area, which opens out to a large, covered outdoor entertaining area and private garden.
Throw open the doors and let the inside flow outside. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast, settle in with a book, fire up the BBQ for dinner or gather around the outdoor fire as the evening cools down.

There is plenty of space to relax together, while also giving everyone room to spread out.

The well equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals for the whole group, with plenty of bench space and a large dining area for enjoying them together.

Hahei Hideaway is about making holidays easy and relaxed. Morning coffees, beach days, long lunches, BBQ dinners, time in the garden and evenings around the fire.

Come for the beaches and the Coromandel adventures.

Stay for the space, privacy and relaxed outdoor living
Guest access
Guests have private use of Hahei Getaway during their stay, including the main house, two separate ensuite cabins, private garden and generous covered outdoor living area.

The property has three queen bedrooms and three bathrooms, with each bedroom enjoying its own private ensuite. This makes the layout particularly well suited to three couples, families, extended families or groups of friends who want to holiday together while still having their own space and privacy.

Spend the day at the beach, come home and rinse off, fire up the BBQ and settle into the garden with a drink. As evening arrives, enjoy dinner outside or gather around the fire and let the day wind down.

Private onsite parking is available for cars, with additional space for a boat or trailer.
The neighborhood
Hahei Beach is an easy walk from the property, with local cafés, shops and restaurants also close by.

Hahei is a relaxed coastal village and an ideal base for exploring the Coromandel. Visit Cathedral Cove, spend time at Hot Water Beach, explore the coastline or simply enjoy the beach and village atmosphere.

After a day exploring, return to your own private space at Hahei Getaway for BBQ dinners, time in the garden and relaxed evenings outdoors.
Getting around

Other things to note
Bedroom layout: Hahei Getaway has three queen bedrooms, each with its own private ensuite. One bedroom is located in the main house, while the other two are in separate cabins a few metres away and are accessed externally. Families with children should consider whether this layout suits them.

Children: The garden is not fully fenced. There is also a spa pool onsite which is strictly not available for guest use. Children must be closely supervised at all times and kept away from the spa pool and spa area.

Rainwater: The property uses rainwater tanks. Please use water responsibly, particularly during summer and periods of low rainfall.

Septic system: Hahei Getaway operates on a septic system. Please flush toilet paper only. Wipes, sanitary products, nappies, paper towels and other items must not be flushed, even if labelled “flushable”. Please also avoid putting fats, oils or harsh chemicals down sinks or drains.

Fireplaces: The indoor and outdoor fireplaces may be used, but guests must supply their own untreated firewood. Fires must never be left unattended and must be fully extinguished when finished.

Use of the outdoor fireplace is subject to current Fire and Emergency New Zealand fire-season restrictions and local requirements. Guests must check Check It’s Alright before lighting an outdoor fire, as restrictions can change during a stay. The outdoor fireplace must not be used where current restrictions prohibit it.
Interaction with guests
Hahei Getaway is your private home away from home for the duration of your stay, and we respect your privacy. We will not normally be onsite, although you may occasionally see our cleaner, lawn contractor or maintenance team attending to the property or grounds. If access to the house or cabins is required during your stay, we will contact you wherever practical. We are available by message if you need assistance.
