Location, location, location!!!

Lovey was a wonderful host, along with her father, Frank, who had so many great stories to tell about the Island. The house was beautifully adorned and still had that home away from home feel. You could not beat the location as Sunset beach was right across the street. The other beaches were within walking distance, along with the giant Turtles. There were also many food trucks in the area. Plan on staying again if we ever come back through. Thank you Lovey & Frank!

Beautiful home proving an authentic experience with amazing hosts!!

This home is in a prime location, right across from Sunset Beach and right down the street from Sharks Cove and many food trucks! The home itself is super clean and in amazing shape! The living room and front porch provided awesome spots for our family to hang out while spread out!! Staying here allows you to experience a more authentic Hawaiian experience with a gorgeous yard and lots of wildlife - our favorite were the chickens! The home is well stocked with everything we needed including beach towels, chairs and boogie boards. Another favorite part of our stay were the hosts! Lovey and her Dad Frank treated us as if we were members of their family. Lovey left us fresh fruit from the yard and made sure we had everything we needed and more! We truly enjoyed our stay and are already looking forward to our next visit!! Mahalo Lovey!!

North Shore

Amazing home with amazing hosts. Lovey and Frank made us feel welcome and were very attentive. They shared fruit from their garden and gave us beautiful leis on the day of our departure. The ventilation in the home is so good that AC is not needed. The location is directly across Sunset Beach and a short walk to the Pillbox hike and Ted's bakery. Hope to return soon.

Fabulous In Every Way

Our Host, Lovey, was extremely welcoming to our Ohana. We felt very welcomed from the moment we arrived. The home was immaculate and beautiful. The location was superb! It was a dream come true for our family to be staying steps away from Sunset Beach. We have nothing negative to say about our experience and only praise for Lovey and her beautiful family. We hope to visit and stay again in the future!

Amazing vacation

Sure, the location can't be beat; the house, with the wrap-around porch looking the mountain AND the ocean makes this unbeatable. But the key to a great vacation were the hosts: they made all the logistics very easy and were a lot of fun to be around, sharing local knowledge, North Shore history and swapping stories. We can't recommend this enough, no hesitations here. It'll definitely be a repeat stay for our family.

Amazing location and amazing place

Lovey was an excellent host. Very good commentator. It’s right across from world famous Sunset Beach and just about a mile or less away from Pipeline. The views were great from the living room and outside deck. The kitchen was big and had mostly everything you need. The showers were great and had good pressure and hot water. They had boogie boards, nice beach towels. There is a stand called Sunrise Shack right in front of the property that serves great Acai bowls. I’ll just end by saying we highly recommend this place…Lovey will make you feel like Ohana 🤙

Best place to rent on the North Shore!

Location is absolutely perfect to get around the North Shore. Property is located near lots of food trucks and right across from Sunset Beach. The property is absolutely gorgeous and the house has plenty of room for 4 people to stay in. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else and would come back and rent from this location again!! Owners are extremely nice and treat you like family.

Amazing vacation!

First I would like to thank Lovey and Frank for opening their home to us. They are incredibly kind, generous and fun to talk with and the best resources to ask questions about the area. Truly awesome people. The home was perfect. We were able to catch a sunset across the street almost every night at Sunset Beach Park. My husband was able to walk the path along the street and hike up the hill behind the home and said it was a really nice hike. We looked forward to getting back to our home base after touring the island and enjoying a beverage on the beautiful deck. The house is open so it's easy to gather in the living room and dining room/kitchen and visit with everyone at once. We had 7 people in our group from ages 22 to 80 and never felt on top of each other. The animals were fun to watch on the farm and all the flowers are just so beautiful. Lovey brought us a bunch of Apple Banana's that were grown on the farm and they were so delicious. Also, we all were made the most beautifu Lei's from the flowers grown on the farm. We all wore them home on the plane and received so many compliments on them and they smelled so incredible and made the plane ride home much nicer. Thank you Lovey and Frank and if we are blessed to visit the island again we will definitely try to stay here if available.

Didn't want to leave!!

I cannot say enough about this absolutely amazing experience! From the second we pulled into the driveway, we were graced with the genuine hospitality provided by Lovey and Frank. They immediately made us feel like part of their family! The house was perfect for our family of 6. Sitting on the lanai, you feel the most heavenly breeze as you try to take in the true beauty of Hawaii. It is truly breath-taking! The kids loved walking across the street to Sunset Beach, looking at the roosters, and visiting the food trucks on the property. They even loved hanging the laundry on the line! Lovey thought of everything when preparing the house! It was spotless and had anything you might need - plenty of towels, beach chairs, snorkel gear, boogie boards,... The decor is authentically Hawaiian and absolutely gorgeous. She even thought to put games in the drawers for some family fun. Just a few minutes down the road you can be at cute shops, world famous surfing beaches, and plenty of delicious food trucks. (Thank you Frank and Lovey for giving us tips!) The charm of this property transforms you and you will escape the stresses of everyday life. No experience we have had compares to this. Even though we were leaving there to go to Maui, none of us wanted to leave!! We left a piece of our hearts at Smokey Acre Blossoms and I pray that we get back there some day!

Authentic North Shore Aloha Vibe!

We had a great stay at Smokie Acre Blossoms! The host is such a lovely person with tons of local knowledge. The house is spacious with a huge wraparound lanai, all the thoughtful amenities, plenty of windows to catch the breeze & hear the waves. The location is excellent - right across the street from gorgeous Sunset Beach! Sunrise Coffee Shack is steps away for bullet coffee & acai bowls, legendary Ted's Bakery is a short walk away, Foodland grocery store, lots of tasty food trucks, Haliewa town are a short drive away. Stay here & experience the authentic North Shore instead of a generic resort!

Beautiful vacation home, wonderful hosts!

Great place to stay

This property was in the perfect location for our adult family, right across the road from Sunset Beach. It was reasonably comfortable but a bit noisy as it is very close to the road. There are a few food trucks nearby which is handy. The owners live downstairs and are very helpful. The only thing this property needs is a couple of bikes to get around.

Perfect from beginning to end!

From the beginning of the booking Lovey was simply wonderful! Answered every question, and was so hospitable! Lovey and Frank have a beautiful home and everything you need at your fingertips. So friendly and helpful with everything. If you need something, they are there to help! The location and the views are spectacular! I can’t say enough good about the house and the owners. If you are thinking about booking, do it! It is worth it in every way!

Surfer's Bucket List

Our family is from NZ and we stayed at Lovey & Frank's for a week in early January. My husband has wanted to see Pipeline during winter and surf the North Shore since he was a kid, and he has now ticked that box. The home was awesome. Great location, opposite Sunset Beach where my husband and son surfed. Close to Rocky Point and V-land also. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The home was extremely tidy and clean with an authentic Hawaiian feel. We loved kicking back on the shady deck watching the surf and looking at the hills, while treating ourselves to daily smoothie bowls from the Sunrise Shack in front of the house - what a bonus!! The Thai food for dinner was awesome too! The wild pigs and chooks entertained us, and added to the country-life feel. We made use of the snorkeling and beach gear which was handy. Future guests should be aware that the home is close to the main road which is very busy. The traffic noise and early morning rooster calls do take a bit of getting used to, but nothing a pair of ear plugs can't fix!! Or just get up and catch the early waves! Thank you our wonderful hosts Frank and Lovey, we loved our North Shore holiday in your home. We hope to be back and would definitely stay again. Mahalo!!

This one belongs on the short list!!

Everything in the ad exceeded our expectations. Authentic furnishings, A/C is the cross breeze from the lanai. The lanai is huge!!!! You can even sit out there during a rain shower. On our trip it was 2 couples. Only one ensuite so heads up. But the location is PRIMO for Oahu!! Quiet side of the island with the beach literally across the street. In the same yard in the street is the Sunrise Shack and on another corner of the farm size yard is a Thai food truck. The yard is an orchard with, chickens, roosters, and pigs. Fun to watch them run around but if you don't want to wake up early on the rosters call, bring you ear plugs because they will call before the crack of dawn.😘 The owners were beyond accommodating!! So friendly. I felt like family. They planned for every need, gave recommendations, and were great communicators. We definitely recommend this home and plan to come back.

Perfect family getaway

5 adults gathered here for a week. We found the location on the north shore amazing. Big waves and beach area just across the street with some beautiful views from the deck. The property was lovely and had a peaceful, chill vibe. The owners were always very responsive as well friendly and delightful.

Great location on the North Shore

This house is located within walking distance of Sunset Beach. It was spacious and comfortable for the 6 of us. The owner lives on the property and was very gracious and helpful. He could answer questions about the area and the island in general and offered useful tips about places to visit and where to eat. There are chickens and pigs on and near the property so you might get a wake up call but the sight of a man walking a pig on a leash and then having the pig tow him while riding a skateboard makes the wake up call worth it. There are several food trucks and food stands within easy walking distance.

Perfect location for a Oahu family vacation

We had a great time! Lovey and her family are fantastic. The property is very clean, the location is great. If you’re looking for a great North Shore experience- I highly recommend. The natural beauty of the property is unmatched. My kids LOVED it. Head’s up, it’s along a very busy street, it can be louder at night. My kiddos slept fine, but with the windows open you can hear everything happening outside. There’s a 2nd food truck that comes on the weekend and it does make the traffic right outside of the property louder. We were fine, but I could see how it would be difficult to sleep with some children.

First Impressions Always Last ❤

It was everything we expected and more. Clean, peaceful, breathtaking evenings, the accommodations were perfect, and the sweet fragrances that surrounded the house, are something that cannot be duplicated on the mainland. Perfect Location / Perfect Hosts

What a beautiful property right across from Sunset Beach! The hosts were very responsive and we were greeted with a warm Hawaiian welcome. They allowed us to borrow snorkeling gear / beach chairs and offered us freshly caught fish and avocados from their tree. I highly recommend this rental.
