"We had a wonderfully relaxing stay in this charming A-Frame chalet on Kennisis Lake. The space is clean, cozy, and thoughtfully laid out—especially lovely with the stone fireplace and spacious deck. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the hot tub was a perfect way to unwind.Peter and Codi were prompt and clear in their communication, making check-in simple and hassle-free. The cottage felt private yet accessible—with a dock, a canoe/paddle boat, and even a bunkie adding extra flexibility.Whether lounging inside or exploring the area, we felt at home right away. It’s a wonderful place for friends or family looking to enjoy the Haliburton Highlands. Highly recommended."

"Usually photos don’t match the actually cleanliness on check in day, but this reservation did. We appreciated the easy communication if we had questions. The home itself is well maintained and is great for a family getaway. The outdoor space is amazing to hang out all day and swim. They have plenty of kayaks and canoes for a bigger group."

"This was such a beautiful stay. The rooms were so cozy, the cottage was so spacious and they had everything you needed. The only thing you should know is the kitchen is downstairs so if you do have knee issues, that may be something to be aware of however - everything was STUNNING and I would absolutely re-book again! (I hope so soon) "
"Suki is easy to get in touch with and very helpful. The space has many rooms and lots of beds. It was ideal for our party of 10. The walk to the water may be difficult for older renters. Dock is a beautiful place to sit on a hot summer day. "
"This was my 3rd time staying here this year. The room was fairly clean and quiet. The bed was very comfortable and I am very thankful to the staff for putting us in a room with a king size bed. The ladies at the front desk were very charming, friendly and polite.
The only downside was that the pool was closed for maintenance. Thanks so much for a relaxing stay. "

"This was our first cottage rental for a family of 10 getaway. Very nice setting and convenient location to nearby activities/stores.The kitchen was well stocked, had everything we needed and the whole cottage provided comfort. ( beds, pillows, furniture)The sandy beach and water depth was perfect for kids. They loved it.After a string of hot days the cottage was extremely hot. Overhead fans in 3 of the bedrooms somewhat helped, but additional portable fans for the master bedroom and living room would be beneficial.The hosts were excellent to deal with through the whole process."
