The property was very clean and comfortable. It is on the second story so requires some effort to get your stuff up there. The location was exceptional. Coffee shop next door and good restaurants (especially the Brown Hound) practically across the street. 1.3 miles from the downtown boardwalk. 35 minutes from Peggy's Cove.

This was a very lovely place to stay. My only complaint is it really hot but that was because of the weather. A fan would perhaps fix that but other than that I have no complaints would definitely go back.

Great Location, But Unsafe and Unclean Stay

We stayed at this property for two nights, and while the location was excellent, the experience was incredibly disappointing and unsettling. The unit was filthy, with mouse traps and droppings found behind and next to the fridge, as well as mold in the shower. The most alarming issue was that the entry code had not been changed between guests. While we were out, someone entered the apartment where our dog was left alone. Nothing was taken, but the bathroom fan, TV and TV had been turned off (we left them on for our dog who was anxious about the outside noise) and some of our belongings had been moved. It was deeply unsettling. The host did not respond to us until the next morning, meaning the code wasn’t changed until then. We spent the first night sleeping with a chair against the door, worried someone might come in. The host was unapologetic and dismissive, only changing the code the next morning, when they finally got back to us. This property is clearly one of many managed by someone who values income over guest comfort or safety. I cannot recommend this property and urge others to stay elsewhere.
