“I had an amazing experience at this Slice of Heaven. The neighborhood is very quiet and serene. The house is extremely inviting and comfortable with lots of extra touches from the hosts. I slept like a baby and enjoyed watching the sunset and sunrise on the screened back porch overlooking the lake. The view was unforgettable and breathtaking. I wish I could have stayed longer.This will be my preferred home any time I'm in the area!”

“Just like it looks on the website fantastic. We enjoyed our stay so much. The host were communicative helped us every time we needed it. Best part for us was it had a boat ramp and we enjoyed the fishing so much. The boat dock was right there so we didn’t have to take our boat out at night. It was fantastic. I could not have asked for better. I’m so glad I found this place and can’t wait to go back. ”

“We had a great week (July 2025)! Perfect size house for our family of 6. House was well appointed and maintained. Excellent outdoor areas (boathouse and patio). Fun game room/tv room in basement. Good beds and baths. Loved location near Eaton Ferry Marina and mid-lake. One small downside is the shallow/mucky water off the dock, but you only have to go out a short way to get to great spots for swimming/floating, which we did all day. “We had a wonderful stay - the house was amazing! We had four families with young adult children and there was plenty of space for everyone. The location on the lake was perfect for just hanging out on the dock, floating in the water, or hoping on our boat for some skiing and tubing. The house had all the amenities you could ask for, just like being at home. Bob and Rosemary were fantastic hosts—very responsive and accommodating. A great time was had by all, and we would absolutely stay again.”

“This was a great property! Beautiful and spacious enough for our family of four. Owner had quick communication when I panicked and could not find the property after GPS took me clear to the other side of town . We didn’t use the dock and such bc 1. I didn’t ask where it was and 2. We were busy and didn’t stay in too much. All in all, No complaints. Would definitely stay again!Thanks for having us!”

“We’ve been coming to Lake Gaston for many many years but this was a first at this house. It was by far the most beautiful and comfortable house we have ever rented. House was very well stocked for cooking. Plenty of space for storage and lounging. Our only complaint was the water space off the dock was pretty overrun by grass and weeds. We easily rectified that by going out on a pontoon for our swims. Hopefully we will be able to stay in this wonderful home again. Thank you for having us!!”
