The room, breakfast and evening meal which we had in the pub were all excellent. The village in which the White horse is located is lovely with some absolutely chocolate box houses.

Lovely stay...pretty oak beamed bar and restaurant. Friendly staff,... very spacious accommodation in a courtyard setting with garden area.. Ample parking... Food excellent serving bar snacks as well as main meals and a fabulous breakfast. Would highly recommend if you are in this area to stay.

Was a good sized room with plenty of facilities. The bathroom was a bit tired and for the price, I felt it could have been a little more modern. There were a lot of spiders in the room which isn’t necessarily the hotels fault, it did make the stay less enjoyable as both my young daughters were a bit scared. The breakfast was decent and substantial, very nice restaurant with a varied evening menu (no burger though which surprised me). The location is good and was very easy to find. I recommend popping to Clare Castle, very nice visit and also if you go in to the town at Clare, the bookshop and the record shop are a treat. I would stay again here although, as I said, it’s quite expensive for the level or room.

This a village pub with a series of rooms in a separate building at the back, the rooms are cosy, well appointed and have modern bathrooms I have stayed here a couple of times and will do so again
