“This gem is close to the Appalachian highway but nestled amongst trees shading the back deck. I woke to horses in the adjacent field whinnying. Beautiful kitchen. Nice open floor plan that opens to dining and living. Lovely rooms upstairs. The bed I slept in was quite comfy. The complex has a heated pool, a volleyball court, a fire pit, a basketball court, a tennis court, a horseshoe pit and a catch and release pond with gazebo. “I took a 3 day motorcycle trip to the VRBO and the views on the way were amazing. Got into town and loaded up on some groceries and settled into the small beautiful industrial home. This property is my dream home. Edison bulbs, beautiful balcony, fire pit, windows that open for a breakfast bar, etc. it’s simply amazing. “Property was clean and well maintained. Directions for check-in and out were very clear and received in a timely manner. Area was nicely located for access to many outdoor activities and restaurants. Only complaint was that some of the items that were supposed to be stocked, like coffee and tissues, were not. There was a grocery store close by where we were able to pick up these items. Thanks for a great stay.”

“The Fox Den met all our needs. It was clean, comfortable and had great indoor and outdoor living spaces. It was located in Thomas, within walking distance of the downtown area. Davis was just two miles South, with another fun shopping/dining area, and the local Shop & Save. Our plans involved hiking the state high peaks of MD and WV, and The Fox Den was very convenient. “We arrived at night to the cabin, trust the google map directions as clicked from the website. The key was in the lockbox as instructed and we were able to settle in nicely. When we woke up we were surprised to find an enormous green pasture behind the cabin with the river just behind the pasture. It was so beautiful!
