"Separate rooms, comfortable bed, nice shower with enough pressure, properly working air conditioning. The breakfast is great and with freshly ground coffee. They have a fixed lunch menu that is served until 18:30 so you have no worries about getting something to eat. The wine list is rather decent with nicely picked local organic reds, whites and rosés. Maora beach is within walking distance from the property so no worries about parking either. A great place to stay as a base to explore...

"We had a lovely stay at Residence Sophia. We were given a lovely greeting and help with our bags. The cabin was exactly as advertised -clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The grounds were well maintained with very nice landscaping. The two swimming pools were brilliant, warm, clean and not crowded. Résidence Sophia is also in a great location for exploring the island easily via the T10. Thank you for a wonderful stay! "

"Hallo.Die Unterkunft ist gut ausgestattet, sauber und in Ordnung. Alles funktioniert und bei Fragen oder Problemen ist die Vermieterin Valerié schnell zur Stelle. Die Küchenausstattung hätte für 6 Personen etwas üppiger sein können. Was auf den Fotos nicht ganz raus kommt ist das es fast eine kleine "Ferienhaussiedlung" ist. "Sehr schönes, rundum gut und modern ausgestattetes Ferienhaus. Alle Fenster sind mit Fliegengittern und elektrischen Rollläden ausgestattet. An heißen Tagen war die Kühlung der Schlafzimmer wegen des einzigen Klimagerätes im Wohnzimmer nachts unzureichend. Ruhige Lage am Ortsrand. Insgesamt eine tolle und sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft."

For the hot afternoons, a (heated) shared pool which came in useful after our days at the beach or hiking in the nearby amazing trails of Ospedale forest. "Excellent facilities and friendly staff. Bring mosquito repellent and plug in mosquito killer for the room. We didn’t have a car however two small supermarkets with a limited selection are very close. We walked to a larger one when it was a bit of a dull day for the beach. Beware taxis on Corsica are crazy expensive so plan your activities accordingly. The beaches in the area are superb."
