Our experience at bonnybank bed and breakfast was amazing! Carla is the nicest host, she is thoughtful, genuine and kind. The breakfast in the morning was magnificent! The king bed was very comfortable and we had a great sleep. This location in Jordan Ontario is close to the wineries and one of the top restaurants in Canada. we can't wait to return in the summer months and join Carla on a nature walk!
Carla is well versed on the area and suggested several side trips. Property is next to an owl sanctuary with several owls hooting in the evening. Awesome. Lane way to her house was a bit dodgy with many ruts but added to the ambience.

Liked: Staff & service
The home was adequate and the host friendly but the room lacked any character. There was no mattress cover on the bed. There were no towels in the room and no place to hang wet ones. It was difficult to find. Breakfast was very good but at a set time for the hosts convenience.
Generally adequate but I felt it was a little pricey for what was offered.
Séjour d'une nuit très agreable au calme absolu avec une propriétaire accueillante, passionnée par la nature les animaux et sa région. Super. Bonne étape pour visiter les chutes du Niagara
Wonderful stay at this B&B! Carla was extremely hospitable and made delicious breakfasts.

In an area of highly priced lodging, we decided to stay here due to price. It is very clean and the host is very sweet and helpful. She is a real environmentalist/nature lover.
The location and grounds cannot be beat. The lodging is spotless but needs to be decluttered MAJOR. Along with upgrading heating and cooling. Don't expect luxury or fancy. A very simple breakfast, simple lodging with no ammenities but the price reflects it.
If you're looking for somewhere for a night or two and need little (basically somewhere to sleep), you're fine. If you're looking for 5 star, then you'll be disappointed. Again, the clutter is crazy but there is a lot of history; decor and beddings could be upgraded too.
My wife & I had an excellent one-night stay at Bonnybank. We appreciated the flexibility with our check-in time. The room was as-advertised and quite comfortable. We appreciated the opportunity to sit outside in the evening and/or enjoy a campfire (which we were regrettably unable to do). The breakfast was excellent; we were very happy that so much of it was locally-sourced. The proprietor is welcoming, kind, and readily available (but not overly so).
It is worth pointing out that the hostess is EXTREMELY willing to accommodate various diets (eg, a gluten-free vegetarian) for breakfast. Good luck getting that at a chain hotel!
We would gladly stay here again and would encourage others to do the same. We hope to return ourselves.
