Charming historic 2-bedroom South Side Hamilton home, 5-minute walk to downtown
You and your family will be close to everything in Hamilton when you stay at our centrally located early 1900’s home, full of character and modern amenities. Set in a safe, quiet neighborhood, enjoy the private backyard or cozy-up by the wood stove in the evening. The home offers an easy walk to downtown and convenient access to all that Hamilton has to offer.
The house is well stocked with a fully equipped kitchen, including cookware and basic spices, a coffee maker with a selection of k-cups, along with, dishwasher, washer and dryer, plenty of towels, and starter supplies for your stay.
The mountains and hiking trails, including Blodgett Overlook, are a ten-minute drive away. While a car is the best way to explore Hamilton and the surrounding area, the home is located a short five-minute walk to downtown and the area is very bike friendly. Local parks offer children's playgrounds and paved trails along the river, as well as nearby unpaved areas for biking and exploring.
We are available by phone throughout your stay if anything arises or if you would like recommendations for local activities. Our goal is for you to feel at home, so we respect your space unless assistance is requested.

This is a lovely clean, comfortable home in an historical neighborhood in Hamilton. The home has everything you'll need for your stay with a sweet fenced backyard for reading, eating, visiting in good weather. Quiet streets, great for walking to any place you'd like to go in the downtown area. Walk to great places to grab a bite or a sip and a fabulous bookstore as well as the library that just happened to be offering a shelf of free books and cd's. I would absolutely choose to stay here again when I return. Perfect home to stay for a longer visit, but great for a day or two also. Would love to have stayed longer myself. If you go don't miss Suzette's Organics. Best food in town. I can't imagine a better home away from home.

Our first VRBO experience and it was wonderful! From the moment I booked, the communication began. Such a darling home that is meticulously clean and in the quietest, cutest neighborhood. Check-in was super easy, check-out the same. Would definitely book again!!

Historic home in Hamilton
The house was well maintained and had original woodwork and other touches. We were very comfortable there with 3 adults and a dog, and the location was excellent for walking to Main Street in Hamilton. The hosts were communicative and provided some local recommendations.

Wonderful Hamilton Historic Bungalow
Hamilton is inviting for living and relaxing, and the historic district and this "old" house is wonderful. This is our second extended stay in the Hamilton House and it is perfect for morning walks downtown, evening walks to the, river, and relaxing in the backyard. The neighborhood is friendly and the house as classic historical home. We enjoyed this again and are always very happy to work with Fenn, who provides the best attention and help.

Cozy & convenient
Our family stayed here for an overnight while we were in town for a concert. The hosts were really kind and communicative. The beds were comfy and the couch is THE comfiest couch in the world. I didn’t want to get up! :-) The kitchen was modern and updated. Our kids loved the map on the wall and the carved masks. Thanks tor a great stay!

A Perfect Fit
Fabulous. The Maples House and Hamilton were a perfect fit for us, my wife Nancy and my puppy Eliza. Seeking to abandon Arizona in the summer for Montana, we found this wonderful small house in old Hamiltong. It is a 1908, I believe, updated property that provided everything we were looking for: comfort, access to walking, fishing nearby, the Bitteroot Valley, a dog park, and a friendly small downtown. It is not elegant and fancy; the house is comfortable and nice, with everything we needed. Clean? Everyone wants clean. It fits that bill. And the Nelson's provided us with good support.
River Rising is the heart of the town in the mornings. a
Access to river in the parks is wonderful.
I am honored to give a great review, but hope that all you will not crowd us out of this house in the future.

Adventure to Hamilton Mt.
Our stay in this little house was perfect.. Fenn is a great person to work with he let us check in early, when we could not get the TV working correctly he came right away to help.. mostly our mistake, when we entered the property in the kitchen a welcoming card and bottle of wine. Very clean and super comfortable beds.. Back yard was wonderful we ate outside quite a bit.. easy to find centrally located .. could walk to the downtown area .. Beautiful neighborhood ..this is a sparking gem.. for sure would stay there again.. Was perfect.
