Located in the heart of the Thousand Islands! Only 10 minutes outside of Alexandria Bay! With just a short 3-4 minute walk to the boat launch on the St. Lawrence River, you will have access to all of what Chippewa Bay is known for; great fishing and boating! The vacation home is a 3 bedroom, 2 full bath rental, fully furnished with all new appliances.

There were no window coverings in two bedrooms. the house was so sparsely furnished, there was no place to put clothes(clothes and suitcases has to be placed on the floor).

Family reunion
We rented this house for our family to stay in for a family reunion. The house was very clean and basically brand new. The house was located in a very quiet and nice location and neighborhood. Check in process was easy and the house had everything we needed.

It could have easily been so much better!
Positive items regarding this property: - The location provides easy walking access to the Bay. - The neighborhood is quiet and pleasant. - The kitchen is large and very useable. - The decks are great when dry (a roof over the upper deck would make both decks much better). - The interior appearance and décor are attractive. Items needing attention to improve the comfort of your guests: - Condensation is leaking from the upstairs window AC unit. We kept it mopped up, but it needs to be reinstalled to avoid water damage and possible injury from fall (could easily fall down the stairs). - The upstairs bathroom pocket door needs a latch and lock. - The bathrooms need shelving and counter space for toiletries. - There is need for a washer and dryer, especially for the use of longer-term guests. - There is a “soft area” in the underlayment in front of the TV. - The inside stairway needs a handrail. - The downstairs bathroom sink drain does not drain properly. - Hot water in upstairs commode?? - Insects come in around the window AC units, and also around the kitchen window. - There was a good bit of dirt under the rugs.

It was a very convenient place. We had family on Mink Island so it was a short boat ride out to visit for the day.

Like brand new inside
Reasonably priced, like new & open floor plan was wonderful . 3 bedrooms 2 baths worked out great for 5 of us. Everything we needed was in the house . If you have a boat it looked like launch was at end of street. Everything to do was 20 min down Rt 12. Had a good breakfast at Fishbone Cafe right on Black Lake and delicious wine slushies at Otter Creek Winery on Rt 12. Would recommend this house for sure .
