Babe-A-Lew: "Perfect for Outdoor Entertaining"
Babe-A-Lew is a grand setting for the family get-away that's looking for outdoor living. Families large and small or couples travelling together can enjoy this spacious home, large front porch and extensive lakefront. Plenty of parking and walk-in access through the rear of the house makes unpacking the cars a breeze.
Enter the rear of the house into the back storage area that houses 2 extra refrigerators for large families. One small step up brings you into the spacious open kitchen. Plenty of cupboard space, a small table for convenience, stove, refrigerator, microwave, double sink and coffee maker perk up your meal preparations. Directly off the back storage area is a concrete patio with propane grill for outdoor BBQ-ing. The kitchen is open to the dining area that hosts a large table that can sit up to 10. Windows from the dining area give you unimpeded views of the lake. Stairwell leads upstairs off the dining room and an open archway leads into the front living space where there is plenty of seating and more views of the lake. A game room/sun porch is off the south side of the living area. Another archway from the front living area leads to the back living room, with flat screen TV and a suede wrap-around couch. Exterior door from this room leads to the rear concrete patio. Then back into the kitchen through the open doorway with a spacious full downstairs bathroom to the right.
Upstairs are four large bedrooms with newly upgraded mattresses. Bedroom 1 has 1 Double bed and two singles facing the lake, perfect for the kids. Bedrooms 2 and 3 have 1 Queen sized bed in each room. Bedroom 4 has 2 double beds and faces the lake. All 4 bedrooms share a full bath at the top of the stairs. Window fans in every bedroom make sleeping comfortable.
Vacationing at Babe-A-Lew affords you all the space and privacy of a traditional lakefront home. Large yards to the rear and south of the house allow for shaded picnics or outdoor play. Each side of the property has a hedge for privacy. The front porch is perfect for reading, playing cards, board games on a rainy day, or just sitting in the evening to watch the stars.
Just across the one-lane lakeside road [25 mph] is 143 feet of natural lakefront with a huge yard. Bring a volleyball net, crochet or yard games, set out your lounge chairs and soak up the sun, or sit under the willow trees and watch the boats pass by. Bring or rent a boat at the local marina and house it at the dock with a boat hoist that accommodates up to 1800 pounds. Fish, off the dock, search for shells on the natural beach or wade into the water. Perfect for all ages as this is a level walk-in waterfront.
Enjoy roasting hot dogs on sticks at the lakefront fire pit, catch fireflies, make Smores, gaze at Bully Hill Winery on the hill across the lake or take in the deep colors of fall foliage on the hills reflected on the lake.

Occupancy: This property is closely monitored for responsible renting. The maximum occupancy of each home is the number of guests allowed on the premises at any given time. This includes both day and overnight guests as well as all children including infants.

1. You will receive an email upon confirmation with a link to our Guest License Agreement which is a copy of our Rental Rules that must be signed and returned within 7 days of receiving.
2. Smoking is not allowed in any rental property. This includes vaping and e-cigarettes.
3. Homes are not handicap accessible, unless stated in the description.
4. Air conditioning is not available unless listed as an amenity. If available, air conditioning is considered a seasonal amenity and is only available May 15 - October 15.
5. Homes are not guaranteed allergen-free, even those that do not allow pets.
6. Docking is not guaranteed if water levels are low and/or high due to seasonal weather and climate changes.
7. Outdoor amenities, including furniture, watercraft, and firepit are not available between October 15 - May 15.
