This was a nice place to stay. The property was very quiet and comfortable and reglazing. I would stay there again. What little talking with the owners they were nice to talk with. I would highly recommend this to anyone for nice get away. Better then saying at a motel.

Very Nice!

The property was clean and quiet which was just what I was looking in a weekend getaway. The owners were very nice and accommodating. I enjoyed my stay so much that I already made a reservation for next year.

Cute cottages for an affordable stay in Maine!

We were staying near Bangor for a friend's wedding, and then doing a couple days in Acadia park. The cottage had everything we needed, was cute and clean and even came with Netflix. Couldn't have asked for more, we loved our stay and may be back in the future!

Cozy Cabin for the Holidays

My husband and I have stayed at this cozy cabin several times now and it never disappoints. Just minutes from Bangor and yet quiet like the country. We'll be back. :)

Quiet cottage close to everything

My husband and I absolutely enjoyed our stay. Quaint cottage close to Bangor and Acadia with all the amenities of home. Ivy did a wonderful job making us feel welcome (right down to leaving lights on for our late arrival). We will be back for sure!

Relaxing quaint cottage

I would return here in a heartbeat. Excellent communication with the host. This was my first VRBO booking-went very smoothly. The cottage is super clean with all the ammenities one could ask for. The attention to detail was appreciated!!

This cottage never disappoints

This is the first time we've ever returned to stay at the same VRBO and we love it here. The location is great and the cottage is the perfect getaway for 2. It has all the amenities you need and want and makes it very easy to be away from home on business. Ivy does an amazing job with the cleanliness and overall warmth of the cottages and is very easy to communicate with. I would recommend her cottages to anyone I know friend, family, or stranger.

It’s like being home away from home. Well stocked with anything you need. Still haven’t figured out how to message the host. Reserved on Expedia but sends me to vrbo website when I try to check out. Very clean little cabins.

My husband and I spent the weekend in the MaineStay cottage in Hampden and before we even left home for our trip the communication was fantastic. Ivy and Kyle are wonderful hosts who go above and beyond to ensure their guests are comfortable. The cottage itself is so cute, with a separate living space and a full kitchen, it was like a home away from home. Ivy has curated a comprehensive guide to popular sites and dining recommendations that we found extremely helpful during our stay. I would absolutely recommend this location for anyone looking to visit the Hampden/Bangor area.

Second time around

The cabins are just a sort drive from Bangor. We like the country setting. The cabins sit back from the main road, and it is quite and peacful especially in the evening. Ivy checks in to be sure we are comfortable and to see if there's anything we need. The place is well stocked. I'm sure we'll be back. Thank you Ivy! Annie & Michael

The very definition of cozy comfort

I came to Maine to celebrate my birthday and do some Stephen King tourism! I had mentioned that when I contacted the owner, and I walked in to a beautiful message wishing me a happy birthday! This little bungalow is just PERFECT! This was my 1st time traveling alone and I feel like this rental was the perfect amount of space for me to spread out and get comfy, while still feeling cozy! The kitchen and bathroom were both so well stocked I was surprised! The living room was a wonderful place to relax and watch tv very comfortable couch! This rental also had a ton of tourism books, books about Maine, and travel destinations within Maine! These were very helpful while on my vacation! The bed was so luxuriously soft and comfortable! I have literally never slept better in my life than I did in this bed! I also loved the little electronic fireplace that gave the perfect amount of warmth when it got chilly! The property is beautiful and private while also being close to many local businesses. The owners have a beautiful house at front of property there is a cute little playground, a cozy fire pit, and 5 little bungalows in a row with adequate parking spaces. The way the property is set up is perfect! Every bungalow has it’s own private space, but the property feels very safe because you’re not out there somewhere remote and alone. I would choose this property again and again! I had the best time staying there on my trip to Maine!

Cozy doesn't even do it justice!

My boyfriend and I drove up from Boston to start house hunting in Maine. Right when we checked in the host was communicating to see if we needed anything else to make our stay more comfortable. And we truly did not because this little place had everything! Because we were spending so much time driving between showings we only really had time to eat dinner and sleep there. Although the first night we had time to cook and the kitchen had everything you would need to prepare a meal. Hannaford is also very close to this property and made it even more convenient. Bathroom was stocked with all the bare necessities to the point where I could've packed a little less than I had to be honest 😅 After the first day of showings our realtor wanted us to stay one more night to look at more properties the following day so I sent a message to Ivy and she replied immediately to accommodate us for one more night and she was really so kind and pleasant the entire time. The temperature probably averaged around 1⁰ while we were there but if you asked us while we were in this cottage, we wouldn't even be able to tell because of how well the heater worked in that small space! All of the little details truly made a difference of our stay, because as we're looking for our own home it's nice to come back to a place that has such a personal feel to it so you can actually relax. I'm very very happy that we stayed here and I would 100% return and recommend to anyone who wants to stay in the area!

Perfect little love nest for two

We loved our cute little cabin! We're happy we decided on a cabin over the resorts we were looking at in Bar Harbor. We felt right at home. It was one of the BEST Vrbos we have ever stayed at.

We arrived very late after a long day moving my child to Bangor. Self check-in was a breeze and the team was very gracious about our late arrival. The cottage itself is a delight! Absolutely everything you could need or want in a lovely little package. We can't wait to come back and stay longer.
