The awkward things are: - It's missing a place to keep luggage/clothes...a dresser would be good - the kitchen could use better utensils and a microwave - the view is beautiful, but would be better if the windows had been cleaned more recently”

“Our goal was a dog-friendly place in New England that was less than a 3-hr drive from RI, was on or very close to water, and provided some type of boat(s). Given that we were booking very close to our vacation date, this checked off our requirements and ended up being fine. The cabin is a bit funky and is a bit of an exercise in "making do" but it worked out. The owners are very responsive and provided us with the missing bedding and more tp quickly. “This location in Stafford Springs is a hidden gem if you love a beautiful private cabin in the woods but still close enough to town. Plenty of space for both my family and my brother’s family; having 5 kids and 2 dogs running around.It was the perfect spot for us to unwind after our event during the day. The views, trails, wildlife, and fire pit were exceptional to have and enjoy. Karen was a very responsive host and made our check in and out smooth and easy. We’d definitely considered this……
