「Beautiful, cozy guest house—it felt like we were staying with a friend in a lovely secret house in the woods. Comfortable, eco-conscious, down to earth. Would definitely return!」

「Great location and very comfortable property. I stayed for a long weekend with my 3 adult children and daughter in law and we all enjoyed our quality time at the lake. We were were lucky to catch a starry night around the fire and stopped counting satellites at 12.」

「Nice place and has everything you need. Worked well for our five adults. As described in listing. We did not use any other the lake stuff so cannot comment on life jackets, kayaks, etc. dirt road to get into property is a bit bumpy and narrow - just have to take it slowly to avoid holes, bumps, etc. very good stay. Would recommend!」

「A fantastic location with a great view of the lake, lots of friendly people, quaint, nice town. Gonna go back.」

「This was our second stay at this property. We enjoyed our stay again. Home was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. The host checked in to make sure everything was going smoothly. I would stay again at this property or any of the other properties owned by this host.」

「Wonderful lakehouse and amenities! The property is clean, spacious and provided my family with everything we needed for a wonderful time. Lovely decor, outdoor deck for grilling and dining and fire pit for s’mores and relaxing. The kids loved the dock, we used the kayaks many times, and also brought some of our own floats. The hosts are very friendly and made us feel welcome. Overall amazing vacation!」

「We had a great time. The house is in a beautiful setting with everything we needed. Well stocked kitchen and large bedrooms.」

「Great location. Beautiful home. Host was very responsive. First time in the Berkshires. Very charming and rural. A nice peaceful place to relax and enjoy the lake, woods, and natural beauty」

「Rich and Cheryl were wonderful and the location for us was great. The cottage was nice unfortunately the upstairs where we were was extremely hot. The air conditioning was downstairs in the historic school room only. Sleeping was quite uncomfortable.」

「Better than pictured. Beautiful lake and decks! Super comfortable living room furniture. Near great local restaurants.」

「Had a wonderful stay with my 2 kids. the view was wonderful having a cup of coffee on the deck looking at the lake. checking in and out was very easy. the set up gave a lot of room for the 3 of us. The treats left for us when we got there was very thoughtful and kind, we appreciated it. I will defiantly be staying again at this property. Thank you again Deana」

「Just returned from a very relaxing two-week stay at Little Dipper. The property grounds are well kept and the view and access to the lake so enjoyable! The inside is well maintained, clean, neat and organized. The kitchen is stocked with everything one could possibly need with upscale appliances! It was a pleasure to meet Little Dipper's kind and friendly hosts, Lynn and Keith. We will be returning!」

「It is a very cozy little cottage in a great location. The host was very responsive and the cottage overall clean. Wiould stay there again.」

「Great house, welcoming, clean, comfortable bed, everything works (!). It is also close everything we needed, which is Tanglewood and the Great Barrington area. Overall, we had a great stay. We did not use the kayaks as they seemed to us a bit outdated and easy to flip, but maybe we just needed more experience in it.Would definitely recommend the house to our friends.」

「Was a great stay and the location is perfect. Nice and clean cottage.」

「Sweet cabin in a great spot. Despite houses nearby, the property is screened off by plantings and felt very private. Direct access to the lake was a treat. The cabin is airy, bright, and clean. The whole area was quiet, with sounds from a camp across the lake adding to the vibe. Despite a few 90 degree days, it was surprisingly cool inside with 4 ceiling fans and closed windows (per host advice).」
