「Malta is an exotic place for me.
The hotel is located very near the airport, with about 15 minutes of walk. A taxi ride would be only 5 minutes.
But directions are not clear and almost all the buildings were closed and looked all the same so it was rather difficult to find the place.
The young attendant at the front desk was kind and polite. But his duty hours were between 6am and 3pm only. That means any one arriving after 3pm needs to follow the clues left on the door to open the gate and...

「To begin with, I arrived at the place; the door was closed, and I did not have the
combination code for the building and do. ot the assigned room, never contacted by anyone. I was strolling in the street until a good Maltese Samaritan helped me contact the management using his phone; by the time I went to my room was 11:30 PM.
The room service comes every day; they never changed the sheets or replaced the towels.」

「Townhouse 17 serves as a perfect starting point for a Gozo experience. Within footsteps of the bus station, you can get to and from anywhere you might want to go. Beaches are an easy jaunt, the Cittadella within walking distance, and the local streets, shops and restaurants surround you. The restaurants on site are great also. 「It is a beautiful country estate. Prettier than parks in Malta with a lovely patio area and pristine pool. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Staying there was a delight. I highly recommend it.」
