Everything was perfect!! Secluded and huge home with all ammendities!! Very clean and owners /host thought of everything!! We had a family get together as we live hours apart.. it was great. Ample patking and lots of room. Pool table and games a hit and hot tub and sauna a huge plus !! Would definitely recommend 1000 percent ! Rooms were clean and very cute..every room had its iwn character ! Great for kids as well as adults..great family house!! Enjoy..

Truly one of a kind

Everyone in our party raved about this property so much so that we seriously joked "same time next year?" If you're looking to escape the hustle and bustle and unwind and connect with friends and family this is your place to stay.

Great house and property!!

We loved our stay at this property, the house was fantastic. It easily accomodated all 21 of us, and the hot tub was a huge hit. Rowboats, canoes and a kayak was included with the property and there are even hiking trails. If you have a family reunion like we did or just a large group definitely book this house.

Good stay

It’s a good space for a large group. Enough rooms for everyone. Beautiful lake nearby. Scott was very helpful. House has two kitchens, three refrigerators which was great. Kitchens weee stocked with pantry essentials which was very convenient. Over all, a good stay.

This was an amazing home with lots of space for family get together.

We had an amazing time celebrating a birthday with 22 family members. The house is spacious, the property is gorgeous with hiking and beautiful views. We really enjoyed the fire pit. Scott and Anne left us muffins to welcome us which were delish. I definitely would rent this home again.

Wedding party weekend

Great place for our wedding party weekend. Scott was super accommodating and was an excellent host. Would recommend especially if you plan a small wedding. Just one note the entertainment room is not heated but this did not deter us and was fine even in January.

Amazing experience

Scott and Anne were incredible hosts, and their home was perfect for our group. We were a large group, and had a ton of space. The kitchen was fully stocked for us to cook giant meals. The hot tub was amazing. Scott and Anne were responsive, and even came early in the morning to plow us out of the driveway when there was a lot of snow. We will definitely be back!!!!

Birthday party

I had my 50th Birthday party there for Memorial Day weekend. Amazing place!!!There is not one negative comment I can think of. I had a perfect celebration. There was so much to do there outdoor and indoor that I wish we could off stay longer. The owners were so nice. All my friends and family loved the house and the property. We all had a great time. Family Christmas Gathering

Our 7 adult kids, their spouses, and children joined us from Dec 19-22, 2024 to celebrate an early Christmas weekend, coming from 5 states! We had a fabulous time at this property. We brought a fold up table to add to the one there and could fit us all for dinner nicely. Kids were very happy to have it snow - and Scott came through with his plow for the driveway .Plenty of space to spread out. Would recommend!

Family reunion

we would like to thank Scott and Ann for letting us enjoy their house for the week. We were a group of 20 (17 adults 3 kids} and we had more then enough space to hang out together. The property is well kept and there is plenty of fish biting in the lake. Firepit was non stop each night, thank you for all the wood supplied. We only had 1 small issue and Scott responded in mere minutes. Perfect for our family reunion.

Birthday Trip

Scott & Ann were both super communicative. All pictures matched the property, and our stay was perfect. With the snow over the weekend, Scott was nice enough to plow the driveway for us on the Sunday morning. Everything was great! We used the firepit, the sleds, the pool table. Only downside is no cell coverage in the area, but WiFi was enough for us! They had Roku, lots of games, and plenty of space to accommodate my group of 22 people. We never felt like we were on top of eachother, which was a huge plus!

family reunion

Was great having space for our spread out family: Oklahoma, Florida, Texas and New York. 17 of us ranging in age from 86 to 6 months! The surrounding area is so peaceful and the house was large enough for us to gather together and also find some alone time. We were "treated" to some heavy winds and rain that knocked the power out- but only for a couple minutes until the generator kicked on. The property owner showed up soon after the storm passed to make sure all was well- fantastic friendly owners! We are hoping to stay here again in the future!

We were surprised when we arrived that we couldn't see the lake from the back yard, as was expected from the pictures in the web site. However, we discovered it was only an easy 4 minute walk to the lake, so we were fine. We loved the lake. The water was refreshing and great for swimming or noodling. Many of us also used the kayak that had a backrest, as well as one of the canoes. it was great to have three fridges. The second floor fridge and kitchen was a bonus for breakfast for those sleeping in that area. The house had multiple places to hang out and sit for meals. We were a big group and everyone was assigned one night to cook. We found the kitchens very well equipped for that.The lack of a washer and dryer was a minor inconvenience addressed with an abundance of towels. The hosts were very conscientious and communicated thoroughly.

Lake view Lodge

Great place for a group to hang out together and not worry about bothering or being bothered by anyone else. Very private location. Creative how they turned a large stable into a very livable multi bedroom, multi bath place with comfortable family room and kitchen gathering spaces plus a game room with a wet bar. There are a hot tub and dry sauna inside as well but we did not use them during our stay. Outside is very clean and open with a great grill and large fire pit with bench surround and plenty of mowed space for outdoor play and events. The lodge is an easy walk but 400-500 yards from the lake and the view of the lake is limited. That said, the views of the surrounding fields, forest and hills are not disappointing and the lake itself is clean and accessible. The owners were very responsive and accommodating. We definitely enjoyed our stay.

Ample Space to Hang Out and Play

Our family of 14 adults loved our long Thanksgiving weekend in this renovated horse stable. The main floor open concept and stocked kitchen worked great. Having a pool table in the adjacent room, so accessible made us play more pool than we ever have. The hot tub and sauna were clean and ready to go. Owner was wonderful. He came over and tried to resolve an odor issue from the downstairs bathroom. He also offered to take us on a hike on the trails around the property. We really enjoyed staying there. The one surprise was that 5 of the bedrooms didn't have windows. Some folks didn't care at all about that, some did.

Great house for groups

We had a great time staying in Scott’s house for a weekend with friends. We were a large group of 6 couples and kids under 2 and the setup was perfect with enough space for everyone. It was really nice to have some bedrooms away from the main area so the kids could go to bed and the adults didn’t disturb them. Scott was a great host and was really helpful when we had a problem with one of the fridges. The one piece of feedback I would give is that while there are a lot of products in the home like spices etc, there were some basics missing (like olive oil). Not a huge thing, but keep in mind if there is something you really need for a certain dish. Easy enough solve though as town is about 10 mins away and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend this place for a big family or group.

Family reunion, 25 people ages 4 to 78. Amazing stay! This reunion happens every year and we move from place to place. We checked out today and are ready to book Scott and Ann’s home for next year! This home was really well laid out for a big group. Very clean and comfortable beds for all! Multiple spaces to hang out in smaller groups or all together in the huge activity room, which we even set up a projector in for a movie night (it’s attached the house which was awesome but not evident to me in the photos). Everything was very well stocked… towels, paper products, games, kitchen needs, outdoor games, etc). Tons of ‘extras’ like the pool table, hot tub, and sauna, plus 3 refrigerators and 2 kitchens, which is fabulous for big groups. The lake was beautiful and we had a great time with the canoes and fishing and swimming off the dock. The lake is a beautiful walk (just a few minutes) from the house but this worked perfectly. For travel with little ones, lake time was specific and not all day, and no one had to be on extra high alert while the kids were playing outside at the house. Also, the house is very secluded, which we love, but town isn’t far for a run to the store if needed. Some reviews mention the girls camp sharing the water. They were not on the water when we were, but there was plenty of lake to share had they been. Highly recommend this home!

3 Generations for 5 Days

Negatives: 1. Rules for the place are a bit over the top. We were asked to leave it as we found it. Since we paid over $1,000 per day, we feel we should not have been asked to clean before we leave. There was a warning about how to treat the hot tub-rinse off first, no food or drink in it. They would not ne cleaning it while we were there. 2. Also, we were asked to use only the perimeter of the lake during late morning and most of the afternoon due to a kids’ camp making use of the lake to take kids tubing during that time. 3. Finally, ticks were awful, not that the owners can help that. We believe we should have been made aware of these things after we requested to book but before making the actual reservations. Positives: 1. Plenty of room for everyone. 2. 2 kitchens came in handy. 3 The fire pit and volleyball set-up were nice additions if it wasn’t for the ticks. 4. Plenty of towels for everyone even with hot tub usage.
