Great location, great staff. Good value overall. The lift (1 only) is frustratingly slow and the air conditioning although functional was problematic with you regularly having to turn off and on again to reset. Property is quiet run down and does not live up to the reviews or overall rating. Room disappointing, breakfast disappointing, cleanliness of hotel in general disappointing. Would not recommend at the price charged.

Staff is absolutely lovely and I can not say enough about how accommodating the ladies in the spa were for our family - they were so wonderful!. The morning buffet was also fantastic as were the views from the rooftop bar. Location is highly convenient to the Old Quarter. But..I struggle a bit with the 4-star designation. It’s evident that there’s has been some work put in to update the rooms, but the floors were dirty, the tub wiggled when You stood In It to shower, the tub faucet was dangling from the wall, you could not flush the toilet paper, and the noise from inside the hotel, itself, was horrific at night with doors slamming, people dropping things, babies screaming. I suspect a western 4-star has a different standard and I’m trying to take that into account after having travelled extensively and It wasn’t all bad, but a little disappointing.

I had arranged to be picked up from the Airport, one of the reasons I booked this hotel was because of this service.They sent an excellent confirmation with precise details…I waited over 40 minutes for a taxi which did not show up. After phoning the hotel (incurring additional phone expenses) they did arrange a transfer and after more complaining did not charge me…but I had wasted time and spent money phoning them…good location. Bar VERY loud, so impossible to go there for a quiet drink.

We loved our stay at the Bendecir Hotel. Staff is awesome, so friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice and complimentary breakfast is delicious. It's very close to everything but the hotel is quiet. Excellent location. I would definitely stay there again.

A bad experience
From the pictures the hotel looks quite nice, but in reality it was very worn out. We ended up skipping breakfast on our 2nd day as water and fat was dripping from the ceiling. I would not recommend for anyone. Only positive thing was the friend and smiling staff at the reception.

All the staff at this hotel are incredibly helpful. The front desk staff is unbelievably helpful, especially Thom and Yin. They're the most helpful hotel staff I've ever met. Excellent location where you can walk to many locations in the Old Quarter including the night market (which is car free on weekends) and the hop-on-hop-off bus terminal. Lots to see, eat, and shop near the hotel.

The staff went above and beyond. My cousin had a problem with her visa and was stuck in Tokyo. The staff was able to get it fixed in a day. The breakfast is amazing and different everyday. My only complaint is the rooms facing the street can be a bit noisy if you a light sleeper.

We love the Bendecir and its wonderful staff
We absolutely loved our stay at Bendecir. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The location was very convenient, so close to many restaurants, and shops. Ho Hoan Kiem was literally steps away. The breakfast was divine. The selections and quality were exceptional, even better than at many restaurants. Most of all, it was the service and the outstanding staff. The manager, Linh, was diligent, courteous, and extremely accommodating. All members of the staff, most especially Quyền and Hiếu, were very helpful, attentive, and respectful. They paid close attention to what we needed and fulfilled them quickly. We could not say enough good things about this lovely hotel and look forward to coming back
