We loved the open concept and close proximity to downtown Bethel. The fenced-in yard was so convenient for the dogs. Hosts Adam and Suz were great, responsive and helpful. We would stay again!”

“We loved our stay on Sheep Island with the family, kids and grandparents. We have been coming to Kezar for years so are familiar with this part of the lake. We were so happy with the property which faces the mountains for great sunsets and views. Cabin 1, which is newly renovated was our home base for relaxing and eating meals with Cabin 2 mainly used for sleeping. The boatride to and from the private dock is less than 5 minutes, with access to the lake and cabin an easy walk. Cabin 2 is a bit……

On the day we decided not to ski, my husband took a relaxing steam, then we explored the pathway to the lake, and shopped in the cute town of Norway. “We only had a very brief stay, alas, but made the most of the opportunity as best we could. A few updates are needed with the introductory welcome materials and equipment information that will be easy but useful to correct. Glad we had a chance to pause in western Maine, with a view of close mountains and the distant Presidential Range in NH. A couple of kitchen tweaks will be helpful for our cooking happy selves, though we enjoyed the spacious kitchen with adequate equipment, beautiful place……
