"The place is app 15 minutes drive from the fort and the area is rather rural. The hotel has no restaurant and it is quite dirty. Especially the pool. The owners are very sweet and sericeminded but dont speak English. But they help you with everything. Unfortunately you CANNOT pay by card. That meant the owner spent the mirning driving me from ATM to ATM in order to gather enough cash to pay. Ridicilous! "

"we got off the train form Colombo & showed our booking paper to our Tuk-tuk driver. He rang to get instructions as to how to find them, only to be told it was CLOSED!!!! Woopsie, but luckily he knew somewhere."

"Niyagama House is the perfect spot for a relaxing holiday. We enjoyed meditation as well as yoga sessions and the food was fantastic!"

"Hotel was welcoming, stylish and located a couple of minutes from the best side of the beach. The rooms are a little smaller than they appear on the photos but spotlessly clean, modern and well equipped. The atmosphere and cocktails were great, & breakfast was lovely with lots of choice. Hotel staff were incredibly friendly and could not do enough to help - particular thanks to Imash for his help and advice."
