“The owner provided a lock box code, so that we could access the front door key. A ring door bell camera system is available to communicate with the owner, but we did not use it. Joe reached out to us several different times by phone and text to make sure that everything was going okay. The Lake Huron beach at the cottage is not a swimming beach, but offered many days of peaceful relaxation. The kitchen had everything we needed for our week long stay. “My sister got married in a very low key ceremony recently and we wanted to throw her and her husband a celebration with their closest friends and family. This was the perfect place for hosting a gathering! There was ample space for food prep and plenty of room for guests to hang out, play games, and enjoy the beautiful weather. Couldn’t have asked for a better location and the host was so helpful in answering any questions we had.”

“The cottage is in close proximity to Harbor Beach, but away enough to give you peace and relaxation surrounded by nature. Everything was super clean and the host went above and beyond to ensure our stay was amazing. Little details matter and made all the difference (charcoal for the grill, wood for the fire, smore supplies) and also indoor and outdoor games, as well as a Zipline in the backyard. Excellent communication with the host! Highly recommend. ”

“My friends and I have experienced different rentals along Lake Huron’s thumbcoast. This location is by far our favorite. Easy to find. Easy checkin. Beautiful, peaceful property. All the amenities you could need, plus some! Everyone got their own bed. Super clean, and modern with a slight touch of antique. John and Marissa were very responsive in communicating and have thought of every detail for their guests. We will be back! ”

“House was every bit as spacious and beautiful as advertised! Very secluded spot, extremely comfortable, and Kristine was super responsive! Clean! Clean!! Clean!!! “The pictures in the listing were exactly what we found when we arrived! Clean and tidy. Ready for guests. The cottage shares a cute quiet street with other cottages and it does share a hot tub, BBQ and hose with the cottage next door but this doesnt make any difference. We actually made new friends and thought how nice this could be for a alarger group to be able to rent 2 cottages right next to eachother. Each cottage has thier own fire pit and 2 (maybe more?) parking spots. Trash bin is……

“A simple but well decorated home! Very clean and comes with all the amenities. On a quiet street close to town and the beach, a delicious restaurant and bar only 3 minutes away. A cute small backyard with patio furniture and a spot for fires. Bring some food to cook as the kitchen is fully stocked with dishes an oven and microwave. “Owners and property was perfect for our family of 6 with two children (ages 11 and 12) and our two four legged family members as well. Mike was here within an hour or so when we requested more wood, and was super nice and welcoming. The neighbor by the beach wasn't as great, just stay off their property on the way to the beach.”
