“We decided to start our holiday early and stay at the Stansted Airport Lodge before our 7am flight the following morning.
We didn't arrive at the hotel until about 10pm but were we greeted at reception by a friendly and helpful staff member and shown to our room.
The room was basic but spacious and you could see the airport from one of the windows.
We weren't there long as we left at 4:30am but we did have a few hours sleep in a comfortable bed.
We would stay here again if we had an early flight……

“Stayed one night. Were shown to our room and explained clearly how to access out of hours. Clean and functional room with all you need for one night. Very quiet overnight, just a bit of noise in the morning as the stall holders started setting up. Comfy bed, good shower. 2 minutes walk from the Thames clippers. Will happily stay again. ”
“It's nice a clean place. You will find everything you need close by: daily shops, pharmacy, restaurants and so on. And most importantly the train station is right behind the house. Furthermore, there are so many bus stops all around the building. I enjoyed a nice view from the kitchen. The owner was very kind and friendly. Definitely, I warmly recommend everyone who wants to delight a nice stay in London. ”
“The Riffle Volunteer, is a lovely old English Pub, The Manager, and The Staff, are Fantastic!! And went above and beyond. The Rooms are Clean, but basic and could do with a
lick of paint to freshen their up. But apart from
that it's a charming little tradition pub. The outside garden is lovely, and there is parking, but it's a small car park.
But i loved it.

“We had an amazing stay at the luxury inn, it is located within walking distance to public transport which was perfect for us. We managed to park right outside too.
The room and en suite were immaculate, extra touches like the fans being on for when we checked in was brilliant after it being a hot day, the shared breakfast area was stocked with plenty of options too.
The communication with the host James was second to none and made the whole process very easy and stress free. Will 100% be……

“a little bit far from any bus stop or subway. but quiet. room is without curtain. but lamdlord is very nice. i think he should mark it is shared bathroom before booking. it did not show on website. otherwise everything is alright. it has a kitchen, which is a surprise”

"I'm very concerned with the sleeping quality that I can get in a hotel so this hotel is between 3 to 4 out of 5 for me. The bedding is very comfortable and the room is very decent and clean. The only downside is that the wall and door are really too thin, and that the hotel is busy with people in and out. The door when closed would create a loud noise capable of waking everyone up. You can hear the music and conversation of the adjacent room easily.
Also, the cleansing staff, although having done a great job in cleaning, was really creating loud noise when they clean (including slamming the door of the cleaning room). Despite putting up "do not disturb" sign outside my room, the staff knocked on my door at 9:20a.m. just to confirm if I need housekeeping service. This is simply too annoying and stressful for a quiet enjoyment of the room."
