    Mountain Glory is a unique property that offers adventure, solitude, relaxation and serenity. A great place for family time, a private get-away with your sweetheart or group vacation. It’s the perfect spot for a West Virginia mountain experience. The road to the top is rocky, but once you arrive, you'll want to return again and again! Mountain Glory is situated on a private 12-acres high on Briar-patch Mountain in Harman, WV. You’ll be telling your friends about it. Arriving to our beautiful cabin is half the fun and it’s so worth it! Situated at the "Halfway Point" between Canaan Valley & Seneca Rocks, Harman is the location of this fabulous cabin. 11.04 miles from Canaan Valley, WV and 12.38 miles from Seneca Rocks, WV. Its the perfect staging area for exploring all the adventures the region has to offer. Make Mountain Glory your home-away-from-home while you explore! Mountain Glory provides lovely amenities including hot tub, outdoor large venue fire pit with wood provided, large decks for gatherings and outdoor dinner venues. Mountain Glory offers sleeping for up to 12 with 4 Bedrooms, plus private den with sofa bed, 4 Full Baths. With bedrooms on all three floors, this cabin is a great spot for multi-family to spread out. Mountain Glory is also the perfect spot for a smaller group or couple, offering your choice of two Master Suites with privacy. Two Master Suites with private bath (1 King in basement, 1 Queen upstairs) Main floor bedroom (1 King) Bunk Room with trundles upstairs (2 Full, 2 Twins) Main floor Den with 1 sofa bed.We have 4 full baths, 1 upstairs, 1 on main floor and 2 in basement renovated lower level, to accommodate a group comfortably. You will be given a code for entry. This allows you to go directly to the cabin versus a rental office for keys. EAT, DRINK & BE MERRY at Mountain Glory! With two refrigerators and two kitchen areas you can stock up and store lots of stuff! WE LOVE DOGS! But only if they are well-mannered. Please bring your mannerly pup and enjoy your trip with them by your side, don’t let them roam far from the cabin. Well mannered dogs are allowed with non-refundable pet fee of $60.00. Dog owners are required to clean up after dog, please.

    *** VRBO automatically collects 6% West Virginia state occupancy tax from you. Owners are required to collect an additional 6% occupancy tax by Randolph County and that has amount been been added to your nightly cost and will sent to the County by owner on your behalf.

The access road warnings are legit, getting up and down the mountain will require a AWD vehicle. Totally worth it though, the porch view is amazing and we got out and did a lot of cool stuff.

We have been vacationing in the area for 20 years. The scenery is spectacular. The locals are great. What we loved about our stay was: the hot tub, the area attractions, the peaceful setting, seclusion and views. Prior to our visit the host did make sure we knew the road to the cabin needed 4 x 4 or comparable vehicle. Being country folks that was not an issue for us. There were other issues upon arrival and others throughout our stay. The host said she would send a maintenence to fix the issues but we would have to leave. It was not convenient for our group to pack up with all of our recreational gear and go to a hotel ( were most likely our stuff would be stolen) or drive 5 hrs home. So we decided to stay. The host did make a modest adjustment to the fee.

The cabin was private on a mountain side, beautiful views. Family of six, plenty of room for all of us. Great deck overlooking the valley below, hot tub and bathrooms were great. Would definitely stay there again.

We did enjoy our stay

We did enjoy our stay at Mountain Glory. We made it to the cabin, you definitly need a 4 wheel drive. The hot tub is great und we loved to play pool billiards.

Privacy, Silence, and Stars

Wonderful long weekend here! The scenes were awesome, the secluded nature was relaxing, and the view of the starry sky on a clear night was unreal. The place was as advertised and great. I'd recommend to anyone looking to reset and relax for a while.

Morning Glory

Host was very helpful. Amazing views of the mountains, well equipped kitchen, enjoyed the hot tub and playing pool. Four wheel drive a must to get up the driveway, but definitely worth it once you arrive at the cabin.

Quiet mountainside perch

The property was wonderful. Perfection is clearly unattainable considering the access conditions but they got as close as they could. Clearn, quiet, and remote.

Overall we had a great time in this cabin. Pros: Location (Highly Secluded gives great privacy), Clean House, Firepit, Hot Tub.Cons: None of the bathroom doors doesn't lock. Water oozing out from the ground through the hardwood floor on the basement. Throwing a Mat on top and a de-humidifier helped. Stained bed spread, The gravel road all the way to the property is not that bad. However the drive once you enter the property to the front of the house is real steep and could get real ugly if there is lot of rain and snow. So during wet conditions AWD/4WD is a must.

best family vacation

our family came for a peaceful summer vacation and that is exactly what we had! absolutely beautiful home and view. we had the most amazing time and highly recommend. definitely be prepared for the driveway!
