“We needed a place just for one night. The Bridgewater Inn was a perfect spot for our needs. It was chosen because of convenience, but it was a nice introduction to the place we will definitely revisit when we have the time for a more prolonged stay. Clean, cozy and accomodating.”

“Very nice apartment. We were worried about only 1 bedroom for our family of 4 but living room and bedroom were large and allowed for plenty of space for kids to sleep on floor (which is what they prefer). Location is great 3 minute drive to snowshed. Adequate pots, pans, dishes, silverware, etc.”

“It was our first time in the castle itself, usually we stay in the lower hotel but the rates were comparable to the least expensive so I booked one night in the “castle”. The only complaint we really had was the heater in the room was controlled from a thermostat that was down the hall and was for the entire building so our room was either cold or way too hot even with the windows open in late April. That being said it was only when you were getting in or out of the shower and getting ready for……

“Everything was clean and working. The condo was very comfortable and the Murphy bed was a lot more comfortable than a pull out couch. We also enjoyed the hot tub. Also after 8 inches of new snow overnight the pathways and parking lot were cleared before 7 am.”

“The home is charming, immaculate and amidst woods with no neighbors in eye or earshot. It is on a dirt road, so an awd vehicle is a good idea. A stream runs along the driveway. The Ottauquechee River is across the road. The bathroom is on the first floor, and bedrooms on the second floor. The smoke detector goes off if you saute on the stove. I recommend learning how to turn off a wired in smoke detector. You should open the kitchen window when you saute, because most of the smoke detectors……

“We were very comfortable here-it is a huge house and perfect for our horse show weekend. Very nice kitchen and plenty of room. Very private and a gorgeous view. ”
