Harpswell escape

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay at the home. Very convenient to visiting surrounding areas with outstanding nearby restaurants. Peaceful and quiet evenings watching beautiful sunsets!

Great Place To Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay very much. The location was beautiful, the house was clean and well appointed, and the rental management was responsive. The beds were firm but comfortable. The house was easy to find with good parking. Everything worked as it should. Our single quibble is because we and our dog are old: the steepness of the stairs – it wouldn’t affect us if we were younger than 80ish and we still want to return – but it’s useful to know. Finally, as our next stop required them, we brought two easily carried chairs with us; we used them to sit on the stairs to the dock (for shade and view) and the dock (for ambiance and view), these options made the visit even nicer.Our previous trips to Maine were much further North and restaurant choices were limited (we don’t cook on vacation). We appreciate the restaurant recommendations from earlier renters and expected better choices than our previous trips. But the options greatly exceeded our expectations; we particularly enjoyed Harpswell Schoolhouse (we went twice and it’s as good as our favorite restaurant at home), Noble Kitchen, Taverna Khione (authentic food and amazing after-dinner drink choices), and Erica’s. We wanted to try the Dolphin, but were unable to drive past Erica’s as the lobster rolls were just too good.

Relaxing Beach Getaway

House was perfect for our family and gave enough privacy for us to feel at home.Location is perfect. Literally everything we needed was within 25-30 minutes: Freeport, Brunswick, Topsham...even Portland.MaineStay made it easy and they communicated every step of the way. There was a storm on the day we arrived and sections of the island lost power. They got in touch with me before arriving to give me a heads up and to let me know the house had a backup generator so nothing should be impacted. And it wasn't.

Wildlife retreat!

Cleanest dog accommodating place we have stayed! Full house generator that worked IMMEDIATELY (and without any assistance from us!) when a storm came through!!!
