The Harpswell House-Waterfront, SunRise, Big Yards, Classic & Luxury
There are two buildings and 3 living space in the property, we have the main house, the in-law unit and then the bunk house. The main house has 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths with attached 2-door garage, above the garage, we have a 1-bedroom 1 bathroom in-law unit(the one with green kitchen). The bunk house has 1 dinning room, 1 living room and 2 bedroom, no bathroom, (under album "living room2"-"dinning room2"-"bedroom 4", and bedroom5" , in the album"backyard", you can see the bunkhouse. We are working on getting permits to put a half bath in the bunk house, finish sometime in 2026.
Total 2 king beds, 2 queen beds and 7 twin beds.
We renovated the main house in 2024 fall, finishing the in-law unit in March 2025, everything is brand new. The bunk house is truly antique itself, it was built 1795, it is one of the oldest house in Harpswell that is still well maintained, it has the charm that new houses don't have. Take a look at the floor in the living room, the patten is carefully designed, it's a piece of art itself.
Come and enjoy the peace this 1.6Acre waterfront house provides, you can see the ducks swimming in the bay, see the goose walking across the lawn, see a fox pass by at the back, see turtle crossing the path, deer feeding in the lawn, and of course fish jumping off the water, sea gulls, eagles on the sky, butterflies flying by your elbow.
Step your toes in the water, feel the salty air, watch beautiful sun rise on the deck with a cup of fresh brewed coffee. This is The Harpswell House for peace & love!

Peaceful Family Retreat on the Maine Coast
We had a fantastic stay at this peaceful oceanside property in Harpswell, Maine. The setup—with a main house, attached apartment, and a charming bunkhouse—was perfect for our two families and adult children. There was plenty of space for everyone to relax and unwind.The backyard is absolutely stunning, filled with beautiful flowers and lush grass, and it opens up to a tranquil ocean inlet. We especially loved the hammock spot, perfect for a good book or an afternoon nap, and the back porch quickly became our favorite place for evening cocktails under the stars.The crisp, clean Maine air and quiet surroundings made it the ideal escape from the hustle and bustle. It’s also conveniently located—close to the Dolphin Restaurant (highly recommend), and just a short drive to Freeport, LL Bean, and local oystering and lobstering tours.Our host was incredibly responsive and helpful, answering all of our questions quickly and making sure we had everything we needed.This home is perfect for family gatherings or anyone looking to recharge in a peaceful, beautiful setting. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.
