“I’ve stayed at this cabin a few times now. It’s in a great location if you want to be close to the Buffalo River. Cell service is spotty, which is really a blessing as I get away from my phone and enjoy reading or sitting on the porch. David is an excellent host!”

“We loved our weekend getaway! Remote location, we enjoyed exploring some nearby trails, looking for wildlife tracks, and wading at the swimming hole. The driving directions were very helpful and while SUV would likely be beneficial on some of the roads, our Subaru Outback did just fine. Accommodations were as described and beds were comfortable. I really enjoyed drinking my coffee while watching the sunrise and my toddler play in the living room.”

“The cabin is an ideal retreat for two with a stunning view of the river. We enjoyed sitting on the deck drinking coffee with breakfast in the morning, snacking a quick bite outdoors for lunch, and grilling steaks on the deck with a Bud for him and a glass of wine for me at dinner. Fishermen in their boats drifting by, water birds and eagles soared above the river, and song birds twittered in the trees. Indoors was comfortable and cozy. One night we watched a storm roll in from over the mountains……

“Great location. Beautiful house. A/C fan motor went out. Contacted host and it was fixed the next day, but we really didn’t need it that night. Great communication and quick to respond. Will start again.”

“Very nice location and beautiful view of the river. We were disappointed the high grass by the river blocked us from fishing and handle on the microwave was broken. We still enjoyed our visit.”

“We had a super good time on the White River. My husband caught a really nice Brown Trout upon arrival. The place was spotless!! It does take a 4x4 and Kenneth was very upfront about that. Front wheel drive will work too. Great get-a-way. It needs a cutting board and the upstairs king bed needs a mattress, but that is the only thing missing. We had such a great time. Three couples between 49 and 65 and it had everything. Loved it.”

“This was our first time staying at a place like this. We usually stay at a hotel. It was amazing! It was perfect for the 3 of us. It was quiet beautiful. We will definitely be staying again, for a longer time.”

“Clean and cozy cottage with a beautiful view. Host was very responsive and left wonderful details for nearby restaurants and also instruction for any emergencies. Beds were comfortable. Back porch was wonderful for morning coffee! Cell phone coverage was not available at the location. I'm not sure if it was the storm that was happening or the remoteness of the location. Host does provide Wi-Fi however, so we were able to still use the phones. We really enjoyed our stay here and would stay……

“Great location between Mt View and Blanchard. Quiet and relaxing. Only complaint was that even though we didn’t watch much tv, the buttons on the remote to the satellite don’t work causing a lot of frustration. There’s the only reason for 4 stars and not 5. Otherwise a perfect stay!”

“Secluded and secure on private property. Locked gated entrance so there is no visible traffic or noise from house. Very nice place to stay.”
