“Stayed at the Perch for a long Holiday weekend. The area is mostly quiet. Jeannie the owner was easy to communicate with and quick to respond. The house was clean and well supplied. We did not have contact with the local care keeper, a couple messages were not returned. Perch lake is a very small lake, a pontoon ride around the lake would take 30 min. or less. “Property was as advertised. Very clean, pet friendly with a fenced yard. Backyard was nice with a fire pit and plenty of seating. Wi-Fi worked well. I was able to connect all devices with good speed. Close access to lakes and trails.”

“I WISH THIS WAS MY LAKE HOUSE!It's the perfect combination of "getting away from everything in the north woods" and "access to modern convenience."This cabin is NOT roughing it. There are granite countertops, lots of cabinets, high speed WIFI, multiple smart TVs, great water pressure, and a sauna! The cabin is only a few minutes and 1 turn off of a major highway and just 5 minutes from restaurants and groceries in Cadillac.But it somehow still feels like it's in the middle of nowhere. There……

“The host gave us an extremely informative PDF for the property and surrounding area. The location was great as you could walk to restaurants, bars and 1 cafe. The smores kits was a nice touch. The only thing that we struggled with was how to turn on the A/C, and one of the boat businesses is no longer in business. Otherwise, great place!”

“The cottage is in a great location, check in and parking is easy. The listing said it had a laundry (washer/dryer) it does not. The host was great and organized a pick-up and drop-off for laundry service to make up for the lack of onsite laundry, they were very professional and easy to communicate with. The kitchen is a little unorganized but has everything you need. The house was not as clean as we would have liked. Overall a great stay. ”
