“We were in the Burg for the JMU Thursday night football game. This place was perfect. Just outside of town. Easy drive to campus. Enjoyed a pregame glass of wine down by the pond. Hosts were accommodating. Place is just as advertised. One thing to note, the driveway is easy to miss. We drove by it twice before we found it. ”

“Our stay at Clover Cottage was perfect. What a cozy space! Sweet side by side recliners, a cozy living space, a perfect bed and a lovely bathroom. As a couple we loved the open ceilings into the two rooms and loved the connectedness. The owners didn't miss a thing. They even offered an early access of 30-60 mins. The grounds and area of Harrisonburg were also beautiful! ”

“We checked in later in the night and it was easy. The space has great insulation so it didn't feel like we were waking the whole house. Cozy and clean, we loved the room so much, we didn't want to leave! The grounds are also idyllic- at the nearby pond, we had morning coffee with a friendly cat who sauntered up to say hello.”

“Place was very clean and walkable to campus. Plenty of room to spread out. The downstairs bed was super comfortable! We also enjoyed sipping wine on the porch! ”

“The abode is located in the basement of a very nice home in a quiet neighborhood. It has a private entrance, very spacious living room and a small kitchenette. There was plenty of towels provided as well as an ironing board/iton, broom and vacuum. Since it is in the lower level of a home, you do have the noise of people above you but it was very quiet at night and in the early morning.It snowed while we were visiting and the host was so kind he cleared our walkway too. We would definitely stay……

“We had an excellent stay here! We came to visit the national park and explore the area. It's close to so many things but feels remote and relaxing. Our kids absolutely loved the game room, playing basketball, and sitting around the fire. There are so many little hospitality touches that you can tell the owners truly care about making your stay comfortable and memorable. If we ever come back to visit this area, this will be our first choice for where to stay.”
