"We loved the nostalgic feel, the decor and the surrounding area. We only stayed overnight and did not have breakfast so I cannot speak for that but the owner did come tell me while I was enjoying the scenery outside with my morning coffee. Very nice place and people."

"We were pleasantly surprised with the property as we pulled into the parking lot at the motel. Located at the edge of town in a more industrial area, we noticed that everything we might need was conveniently located close by to include a large Walmart (with a very large gas station and convenience store), and a strip mall with a pub and grill ( the food was excellent especially the onion rings)!"

"What a gem of a place. So grand an entrance space. The team here are lovely and welcoming and the room was so spacious and clean. If your on Route 66, forget the stay in Springfield and head to Carthage. What a picture perfect town square, beautiful homes and friendly people. Definitely recommended"

"Great place right in town. It was very clean and comfortable. The courthouse is beautiful and we hit a local coffee shop that was really cool. It had a lot of art in it. We will be back if we come through again."

"This little cabin was perfect for the two nights before our wedding. It was cozy and clean. Plenty of space and a great play area for when some of my nieces came over. Jenny was an excellent communicator and everything was super easy!"
