Excellent hotel if you have to catch the ferry in the morning. The lady who welcomed us is very friendly. She let us have our take-away meal at the table downstairs and even supplied us with cutlery and glasses.

Hotel was ideal for our trip, location close to restaurants and shopping. The room comfortable, clean and all staff were great. Special thanks to Joe, the reception manager, who always asked what he could do to assist us make our stay perfect.

Nice tidy and clean room that looked like it had been recently fitted out. Decent sized Kitchen at each end of the corridor i didn't use them but they looked fully kitted out and new. Historic town with a lot of navy history but not huge amount to do other than wander & fairly nice beach ideal for small kids ,town shops all a bit tired . Old sea fort & redoubt are interesting to look around
