My room 14 was very nice and spacious but the bed does need some leveling. Because of the floor the head is a couple of inches higher than the feet. A couple of russian novels on the foot pegs to level the bed!”
“My daughter and I spent a weekend at the Flackley Ash hotel and had a wonderful time. The food was very good and there is a decent pool and gym there. The best thing though are the staff they are friendly efficient and just make the experience so much better. ”
“Very nice property, enquired on checkin about VIP upgrade and told no rooms available, when in my room above entertainment area the noise was unbearable so went to reception who then moved me to another room. (All though full) so they do not give upgrades to VIP guests. Gorgeous hotel would stay again ”

This is a lovely hotel in Hastings. The location is perfect - right on the seafront, but set back which reduces the noise from the road and walking distance to the old Town. It is a classic Georgian building and beautifully refurbished with lovely large comfortable rooms, complete with fridge and large screen tv. The staff are very helpful and friendly. We have stayed in Hastings many times over 15 years and this is our favourite hotel.

“Pleasant hotel with decent public areas. Food good in restaurant but not able to sample breakfast as this was too late for business guests. Room very warm and difficult to cool even with supplied fan. Quite a tricky exit/entrance from main road depending on time of day.
Staff lovely and made to feel welcome during the stay. Good value for the room chosen and overall a good experience.”
“Lovely hotel situated right on the pebbly beach at Bexhill. The restaurant, bar and lounge were excellent. Food in the evening really good and served by helpfull and attentive staff. Our room did not have a sea view as expected and paid for, but was spacious and well appointed. The staff were really helpful with our bike and went out of their way to look after it and keep it safe. This much appreciated. Sadly we had an issue with the shower over the bath and would recommend anyone to be careful……
“Battle is a very small town; having the helpful hotel staff in the neighborhood is certainly a plus. This building has existed as of the 16th century, and it's been properly maintained and apparently renovated in the toilet/bathroom.”

Breakfast was very good and the dinning room pleasant. We internet would stay there again. (In a different room) ”
“The host was acomodating and really helpful. Easily accessible via texts. We never actually saw her. Room was prepared for us and welcoming, refreshments were available on arrival and kid found little fridge greaf. Some little things in there that makes the room not be worth 10/10 like little TV never working or shower leaking so needing to use one of towels to make sure we don't drown neighbours, but we would return providing that the order becomes easier. Unsure if I'd book via hotels.com……
