"Exceptional in every way. Had a week stay with full family-my wife and I, our two 80-something mothers, our 2 kids and their spouses, and our new grand-daughter. The house is beautiful, well equipped with everything we needed. Young and old loved it! First-the house: beautifully decorated, comfortable, plenty of room, many thoughtful touches. Beds were very nice, plenty of seating inside and out for family cooking and meals. Basement is super nice with fireplace, pool table, large tv, and of course the hot tub on the back deck to take in that glorious view! Second-the location: beautiful, inspiring, top-of-the-mountain views. So nice to see sunrise/sunsets of distant peaks, full sky views. We took beautiful family photos at the parking area just a short walk on up that turned out amazing! Third-the host: The entire process was perfect. Had a couple of questions that Sandy answered immediately. Very easy check-in/check-out. Last-the overall vibe: simply wonderful in every way. Know the location because you just can't zip to the corner store in 5 minutes, it is up a mountain :) But it's so worth it. Met some wonderful folks, clean views and clean air nourished the soul."

"My wife, I and two other couples stayed at Wolf Laurel for three nights from July 25-28 2026 and had a wonderful experience. The property was very clean, nicely furnished and all the amenities you need. We primarily gathered in the kitchen, living room, dining room, upper deck and fire pit area. The cabin offer plenty of space for people to spend time together while also having ample place if someone needs some privacy. Communication with the host was outstanding. We would definitely recommend it to others and would stay there again."

"We had a wonderful stay at this Mars Hill cabin and couldn't have asked for more. The views from the property are breathtaking, and soaking in the hot tub after a day of exploring was the perfect way to unwind. The location is fantastic — close to Hatley Pointe and just a short drive to the Appalachian Trail at Sams Gap, so there's easy access to both mountain activities and beautiful hiking.The cabin itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the main floor living space was cozy and inviting.We did have one hiccup — the hot water heater went out for a day — but the host responded quickly and had it fixed in no time, even though it was a holiday weekend. That kind of responsiveness really says a lot about how well this place is managed.Everything about this stay felt relaxing and well cared for. We'd happily book again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful mountain escape with easy access to outdoor adventure."
