Beautiful location; house may not be worth the money
This house is very pretty, large and spread out. The pool is nice. The location is great.
If you are traveling with multiple families, the size is very convenient.
However, this house is NOT dog friendly – they do NOT allow dogs. The house was extremely dusty and was not as clean as it should have been. There was a giant dirty mop just sitting in the front foyer upon entering. None of the porch furniture was clean or washed down (in the defense of the property, we did arrive directly after a hurricane). The movie/theater room DID NOT work and the realtor made no effort to get a technician out to the house to fix the theater room before our departure. When paying so much for a house, you expect it to be “luxury” and it is not. You expect certain niceties: a roll of toilet paper in the bathrooms? Maybe one bottle of cleaning product under the counter or one roll of toilet paper? There was NADA in the house, even to get us through one night. Make sure to bring your own toilet paper if you are arriving late!
The sheets were provided in plastic packages per COVID guidelines, which was good, but upon opening them, most sets of sheets had blood stains or huge dirt stains and we opted to not use them. Again, for so much money, they could just invest in new linens or tell us to bring our own.
It’s a ‘good’ place, but for the money, I would look elsewhere.
