Relaxing trip

The home has the normal wear and tear but is still very nice. Lots of room for a big family or groups. The beach is just over the sand dune, maybe a 2 minute walk. Pool was great. Only issue we had was the bedroom on the third floor had A/C issues and it took a few days before they brought out a portable unit to use in there. Overall it was a great trip and I would recommend staying here

The house was big and beautiful. It was stylishly furnished. The views from the top floor and living area were fabulous. With all of the sliding doors and screens, we could hear the wonderful roar of the surf all the time. This would be a wonderful place for a family reunion or a group of good friends with or without kids to get together For a week. There was a lot of provisions for babies and little kids like a crib a little stroller there were baby gates. ….. Couple of recommendations: providing more handholds in the bathrooms, especially near the toilets for aids getting up. Also, there is some attention needed on the deck in one area there’s a nails sticking up and also on the walkway out to the beach the wood is falling apart , there’s a hole and there’s an uneven Plank. Unfortunately, one of the air-conditioning units ran low on Freon, froze and the condensate ran out of the holding tub throughp the ceiling of our kitchen. The kitchen ceiling was leaking all over the kitchen floor. So in the middle of the kitchen, we had a large pot and lots of towels. Also we needed two handles on two different toilets needing attention. Because of the air conditioning situation the small family room area was not cool. Maintenance was v attentive! I think the biggest complaint from our party because we had two parents who are older was not knowing how far the beach was , it was uphill quite a ways and I think there’s like 23 steps going down to the beach over the Dune.
