Perfect for a family reunion

House was ideal. It had everything you could possibly want or need for a week at the OBX. The facilities were clean and neat, the appliances all worked flawlessly and the elevator was a wonderful addition for some of our older invitees. I would rent again in a heartbeat.

Great view and property!

Just got home from a Great week! Everyone loved the rental and plenty of room for everyone! We had 1 issue pop up and the owner had it taken care of within a few hours. Thank You! If we head back next year I will be looking to see if it is available again!

Down by the sea

Location was great. The house could use some TLC. Issues with the elevator when we got there and it was fixed the next day but not great for loading in. Drains could use attention Dishwasher on island is not attached to the counter correctly and the heavy door is dangerous. Two people hurt their feet. Bathroom towel racks missing and ice maker in kitchen didn’t work Some minor work on these areas would make a good experience great!

Lowdown on down by the sea

The location and access to beach terrific. Plenty of room for 18 was good. Very comfortable, beds ok, views wonderful. Unfortunately, septic tank backed up into bottom floor bathrooms, top floor bath toilet ran constantly and elevator didn’t run for 4 days until handyman came to reset. It took 4 days to remediate which wasn’t good. One reason I chose this property was the elevator because one guest is over 70 with arthritic knees. Overpaid considering a main feature was out over half our time there. I would consider renting again if problems are fixed.

Nice place, amazing beachfront location

Very nice beach house. The picture may be pretty old, it looks a little older than that picture but just because the shingles are weathered now. In general it was nice. There were a few broken things when we got there, not really an issue but I didn't want to be blamed for breaking them (the towel rack in one of the buddy bathrooms on the second floor as well as the vanity door in that same bathroom was falling off). The WiFi password sent to me in the email was wrong but we figured that out. The house was clean and well stocked with dishes and silverware. Overall, I was pleased.

Great retreat

We used this property for a home base for our race team (9 adults). It was a great oceanfront retreat. Everyone had plenty of private space with large, open common areas. Kitchen had everything we needed. Hot tub was perfect! Checkout instructions were clear & easy. Would stay here again!

Hatteras2021!

We love this place! The house is big enough for us all to be under one roof (which is perfect for this mom of all grown kids) and still have our own space! The beach is fantastic! I just wish the top deck was a little higher so we could see over the dune in front of the house…. But we love it and are already counting the days until our next visit!

Great family beach house!

We had an amazing time in this house! We were a small group for the giant house but the open kitchen/great room with deck view of the ocean was so perfect. Great service. Walk right to private beach and .25 to every shop. Could not have asked for more!

Very Nice

Very nice house on the oceanfront. Easily accommodated our extended family group. The only real negative was the cookware, specifically the frying pans. They were beyond their useful life. Personally, I would replace all of them but one.

The house we rented was a bit outdated, but the bigger issue was that it was not clean. Lights did not work, the microwave in the kitchen was broken and there was mold in the refrigerator ice dispenser. If the house was clean and things were not broken, would have been a much nicer rental.

What's Not To Like?

Great location, great features, great views, accommodations, amenities, management company, cleanliness, updated......................great everything! All 23 of us, kids, their spouses, and all the grandkids, had a ball, celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary.
