「This location was unusually nice. Yes, the rooms are above a pub, but it was very quiet, at least while we were there. The staff were very nice and helpful. The parking is a bit of a walk, down the street at the local race track, which has a very secure locked gate to their lot. It was included in the price and wasn't an issue for us. The breakfast was extra special. A wide variety of items to choose from. I would return just to sit and have breakfast again. Extremely pleasantly surprised by...

「Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The only thing that was disappointing was when returning to my locker in the spa changing rooms the key broke in two whilst trying to get the locker open. I had to ask someone to inform staff who then got the locker open eventually minus a pound. The lockers were in need of updating.」

「We had a love 2 night stay in The Old Coffee Tavern. The staff are all very friendly and helpful The bed was very comfortable and a good size, we both slept really well Good generous tea, coffee and milk. Normally you just get enough for 2 teas or coffees each but we had about twice this which was really good. The bar has a good atmosphere with good selection of food and drink. It does need a general overhaul with the skirting coming away in some areas and a general redecoration」

「Close proximity to tourist spots. Very close to train station just a 5 minutes walk. Room is tidy in general. A very good boutique hotel and a good choice of hotel for first time visit to Warwick.」

「The room was big and the bed comfy, with the staff friendly, however having just reopened it is in need of some work. One wall mounted socket (head height) for a TV coffee machine and a kettle, with the kettle cord not reaching the plug was not good. The amenities were lacking in the shower, and there was rust on the frame holding the wash hand basin in the bathroom. All of which was disappointing. Also £20 for breakfast was a bit steep!」

「For the £ very pleased, it’s a beautiful old building but with that high maintenance, and building looks tired in places. But clean, staff friendly, free accessible parking was kindly given an upgrade as booked wrong room, very quiet. I would use again as a quick overnight stay around work.」

「From our after midnight arrival to the manager who went out of his way to change us from one type of handicap access room to one that was better suited to my needs. This property was run like a well oiled machine. The staff overall was polite and helpful, which obviously was made possible by the manager who seemed to treat them all the same way he treated guests (kind and helpful) even when he wasn’t in the building the staff was exceptional. A rare find these days」

「I requested breakfast but was told they didn’t do it anymore. The stairs were cramped with 2 turns and inadequate/absent rails. We did not meet any staff. There was a note saying how we could ring them. The hot and cold water at the wash basin were plumbed in the wrong way round. I did not see any indicator for which was hot or cold. It matters because this is where you fill the kettle. The bed was comfortable and the room was warm.」
