"The house lies absolutly quiet - except for a few cheeky ducks - close to the river Bresle. So the sound of the water lulls you to sleep. After a long drive we were welcomed very friendly. The house is cosy and has a lot of atmosphere. Everything you need is there. For people who are not good on foot the stairway to the bedrooms on the first floor might be a bit steep. "Pascale could not have been more helpful. I asked for breakfast and evening meal as I was on my own and didn't fancy the drive into Songeons in the evening. The house is beautiful ( old farmhouse in style and wooden interior and Indian lights makes for a wonderful ambience). The extensive grounds are a wonderful place to relax and there are chairs and loungers all over so that you can avoid the sun or not!"
