Mold in the bathroom, along with on the shower curtain. Water gets shut off for “too much use” even if you didn’t use it. Pricy for how ran down it is.

Absolute horrible rooms and staff. Me my wife and 11 month old son started getting sick after about 20 mins in our 2nd room

I told told the owner how disgusting the room was and he got very rude. Gunk all in the shower with dead bugs, boogers and bodily fluids on the sink, what looked like poop stains on the towels. I touched nothing and slept after much use of Lysol. The owner said I’m poor and he can get million dollar properties and that poor people don’t deserve anything else. The property has been reported to the health department. Smoke detector was covered in plastic wrap and didn’t work either.

There was Rat droppings under the Bed. I did not stay there. I went to another hotel.

I book a room and when i got there it wasn't available and i got a message saying i couldnt get a refund even though they didnt provide the room i asked for.

Won't be back.
The smell of moth balls was so strong. The a/c smelled like mold so i turned it off and slept with a mask on all night. No shampoo offered. Carpet filthy. Bed was comfortable, sheets were clean, shower was great, lots of hot water.

Required a $20 cash deposit at check in. Luckily I had some cash. No coffee maker or hair dryer in room. Only one small towel, a small bar of soap and half a roll of toilet paper. Was not clean. Hand prints ant streaks on mirrors. Could see daylight coming in around the door. Shower curtain was falling. Towel rack was broken. This is an old facility but I expected it to at least be clean and equipped with the accommodations listed. Front desk did give an hair dryer. They probably would have given towels and toilet tissue but I was too tired to keep making trips to front office. Decided to wait and use the shower at our next destination. Slept well, got my deposit back and hit the road.

Run do not book this place unless you want to pay
Sign in parking lot letting you know not to leave anything in your car it will be broken into. Sign in lobby gives you 5 minutes to change your mind about staying there, she showed us a room, dirty, bathroom had fecal matter in toilet so that would be a no, I do not want to stay, only to find out I still have to pay because I booked through hotels.com

Honest opinion
Unsanitary conditions throughout property. Melancholy staff and questionable safety conditions around property. Very disappointing.

The price for this motel was high for the condition of the property. Parts of the room were not clean, but the bedsheets seemed to be.

It was convenient for our trip. Some stuff did not work in our room. They don’t want to let you get Coffee at 4:00AM. Which was upsetting since it is near the Beach and people do get up early and go fishing or watch the sunrise. All in all it was a good 👍 place to stay.

Horrible room smells bathroom door hard to close and once got door closed won’t open hole in bath tub walkway and staircase have trash and broken glass everywhere

It is anold motel and just to be udated and renovated, otherthan that the front office staff are very nice and accomodating.

There was a hole in the ceiling, the sheets and blankets were stained, had to brush crumbs off the bed before laying down, the tub had some kind of yellow plaster patching a large hole in it, the room smelled like mold, the lady that checked us in was rude and seemed angry to be bothered, there was only enough toilet paper for one trip to the bathroom. All i can think of at the moment

The location is right in town and easy to get to restaurants and back and forth to Morehead and New Bern.

Was happy to get reasonably priced lodging within 20 miles of where I wanted to be (Morehead City, which was very expensive because of a Marlin Tournament). Staff and check in was pleasant. Room decent, overall feel of the place was a little run down, but that doesn't bother me as much as it may some.
