“Probably the worst motel we have stayed in in NZ, in recent years. Would strongly advise to avoid! It’s dirty, and cold, horrible beds, and no service other than towels replaced. Days with rubbish not removed, floors not hovered all week! Air con wasn’t working until my husband cleaned it! Items broken such a cracked light switches, and drawers broken. Mold in both the bathrooms, and hairs under the sink area from previous guests other in our group had complained but nothing changed! Just……

“The room was very clean room, the staff were lovely. We had a comfortable stay and it has a great location in Havelock North. We only stayed 2 nights but it was lovely.”

“Staff were friendly and good to deal with. However I sent an email directly to the motel and never got a response. Property has dated decor and could do with modernizing. Bed had "roll together" and I would replace. Met others staying whose bed was not good. Looked like blood stains on the white curtain backing was the first thing I saw when I opened the door. Dimly lite rooms. Replacement down lights had fly poo all around them. Needs an extractor fan in the bathroom. Would suggest getting……

“Clean room. Everything we needed. Beds comfy. Would ask for separate shower next time. Liked that out of town but handy to restaurants. Thirsty Whale was good.”

“We had a great time in the hotel. the rooms are big and clean. we also get a lots of TV channel to watch. people there are SUPER kind and helpful as we called in to say we'll arrive late around 10pm and the person waited us to give us a warm welcome. Enjoy the stay which is also close to the sea. Great place and will definitely go back.”
