Lovely cottage and location

The cottage was great and had all of the things we needed for our stay. The lake itself was so quiet and secluded which was just what we were looking for. We had a great time and would stay again!

Lovely Stay

Our stay was lovely, and our hosts were super welcoming and helpful. We especially loved kayaking on Lost Lake and listening to all the birds in the morning. The location was easily accessible to Lake Huron where we biked the beautiful Huron Sunrise Trail, and to the Ocqueoc Falls area where we hiked the well-maintained trails.

Lost Lake Lodge

Beautiful setting, charming lodge, well-appointed - the kitchen had everything anyone could possibly want. Owners stayed in touch to offer help if needed.

Beautiful Home and Setting!

I had to communicate with the owners prior to our stay, and they were very helpful and quick to respond. Their house is beautiful! We had a row boat and 3 kayaks to use, too. It was an awesome weekend get away!

Home away from home

We had an amazing stay at the cabin! It was perfect for our large family. There was plenty of space and on a nice secluded lot. We enjoyed smores by the fire in the evenings and watching the sunrise on the deck in the mornings. We loved being right on the lake and were able to kayak whenever we wanted. We took our own but there were a few available for use as well as a row boat that the guys took out fishing several times. The house was well equipt with all of our needs and their communication was amazing!! Responses were quick to any questions we had and they checked in a couple of times via text just to make sure things were going ok! The cabin is close to many outdoor activities which was perfect for our active, adventurous family. We visited many beaches on Lake Huron, trails and lighthouses all within 20-30 minutes. We even traveled to Petoskey one day and visited Lake Michigan and it was only about an hour drive! We could spend the day away and it was nice having a house to come back to and just relax. Loved our stay at this cabin in Hawks. We would definitely recommend this home for any family big or small and hope to return in the near future! Great house with great hosts!

Amazing Lake House

I highly recommend staying at this beautiful, secluded lake house. The owners provide so many wonderful amenities. Our children loved learning to kayak and row a boat for the first time. The fire pit was fun to roast hot dogs and make s'mores. The inside of the cabin was clean and so cozy, but spacious. We would definitely rent this cabin again!

Amazing lake side cottage

Beautiful cabin deep in the Michigan woods, crystal clear lake water. Everything yiu need for an awesome family getaway.
