“Loved the area. Lake Melissa is a hidden gem. We lucked out and stayed just as the autumn colors in the trees were at their peak! The view of the lake was incredible out of the many windows. We watched the birds take their route past us every morning. There was a paddle boat and stand-up paddle boards available if we wanted them. The house was fine. Everything we needed was there, but it could use some minor maintenance. There is a window in the shower without any covering on it. That shower……

“We had a wonderful weekend at the lake. We were welcomed right from the start with a gift basket of goodies. The couch and throw blankets are perfect for curling up and watching movies. The cabinets were stocked with necessities in both the kitchen and bathroom- seasonings, coffee, first aid, sunscreen, laundry detergent, shampoo, and even some toothpaste in case you forgot. The kayaks and water toys were well clean and well maintained. And the beds…best beds, pillows and linens we have come……

“This place had so many awesome surprises. The waterfall shower and steam was absolutely amazing. The fireplace helped make it warm and cozy. The speaker quality helped emit our chill tunes. The porch was great to sit in and watch the colors of the sky change at sunrise and sunset. The little guest house was an extra bonus! Everything about this place was great. My husband, cat, and i will defintiely be staying here again!!!”

“We had a wonderful time at this very comfortable lakeside home. My daughter was very happy with the blackout blinds in the bedrooms for baby daytime naps. Kitchen was well stocked. We really enjoyed the kayaks and this time of year (end of September) the beautiful views of the lake as the leaves were changing.”

“Beautiful property! We had fun fishing and kayaking on the lake, traveling to Detroit Lakes, grilling on the great patio, enjoying a fire and the sounds of the loons, and cooking in the gourmet kitchen! The property had everything needed. The owners are great!”

“Overall, we really enjoyed our stay! The cabin was clean and bigger than we thought. The bunk house was a bonus, it has 4 beds in and AC! The hot tub and boat lift were a nice touch also! The cabin is located right across the lake from Zorbaz. We rented a pontoon one day from Umotors, right next to Zorbaz. The pictures listed are not accurate though- their is no propane grill, just a little charcoal one. No sand box on the deck or pack N play. The outside of the cabin was not that clean. The……

“Excellent place to stay. The curbside appearance was not impressive, but the interior was great and the backyard patio and yard were very good. The grill was not clean, so we didn't use it. The location was great for starting and ending my bicycle rides. The house was reasonably close to the water front, restaurants, shopping, and downtown attractions. I even got to sample St Mary's hospital ER, and they took good care of my kidney stone. I guess I wasn't drinking enough water with my outdoor……
