“My Memorial Day stay at this property ended with a serious injury and an extremely disappointing response from management.During a heavy rain, I slipped and fell down the exterior staircase. The staircase consisted of seven wooden steps. The lower six steps had anti slip strips installed, while the top step where I lost my footing did not. The stairs were rain soaked and extremely slippery. The fall resulted in a concussion, a large hematoma, extensive bruising, back and hip injuries, severe arm……

“Water pressure in master bath is low. I think shower hea needs replacement.”

“Sweet cabin on creek. Quiet and not crowded. Kitchenette could use a few more amenities. Loved screened in porch. Perfect for two!!”

“The cottage was the perfect size for our group of 4. The location is beautiful and was ideal for the sites we wanted to visit. Every morning there was wildlife right outside the windows, a fox the first morning, multiple deer the second and a wild turkey the third. The cottage is fully equipped, although we choose not to cook but to support local businesses, which were all very good. The only negative is that the cottage has a musty smell which spraying air freshener only masks for a short……

“The view was very nice .”

“The house was comfortable, beds were nice and it was quiet.”

“It was a nice cozy cabin. In a good location and we even had a deer come through the yard eating. The cabin had a strong smell of smoke but more like campfire smoke. We also didn’t like the air freshener and the mattress in main room was a little uncomfortable. Just old but still sleepable. Over all we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.”

“Enjoyed the weekend but so many spiders in the cabin. Yes it’s in the mountains but you would have hoped that huge webs would have been cleaned out of the shower before we arrived. We did not shower. Moved nightstand to plug-in phone charger again huge cobwebs. Cabin with surface cleaned, but definitely has not had a deep cleaning in a while. Sink water was brown could not use it had to use bottled water all weekend Was not a pleasant experience…. On those things. My brother and his wife will……

“Everything was wonderful! The owners, the property, everything. We will be back for sure.”

“This is definitely one of the best stays when visiting Helen,GA and surrounding areas. It was so clean and comfortable with beautiful, relaxing creek views. The property has all the amenities of home. It was just a short drive to all the places we wanted to go in Helen. Unfortunately, it was still way too hot out to use the fire pit in the first week of September. We still enjoyed our stay.”
