“Old hotel, some rooms were being improved. Three rooms for family group, two nights. All rooms-mini fridge and microwave, clean floors, beds clean and comfortable. Second night all rooms had had some cleaning and had clean towels. Front office staff helpful the first morning. Rooms: One room very clean, nice mini fridge with separate freezer. No complaints, great value for the price. One room-burned out light bulb in bathroom, and tub's permanent no-slip mat had stains that made it look dirty,……

“Very nice place. Unfortunately for us the temperature dropped significantly , down to 25 degrees, so was too cold to stay our second day and night. The host worked with us and was given a partial refund. If you love privacy, you'll live it.”

“Sitting on the front porch of the cabin overlooking a pond and rolling green lawns is tranquility personified. Turkey and deer make occasional visits seen from the well-equipped kitchen window. Every amenity has been considered and the hosts are more than amenable. Although quiet and serene, the cabin is only minutes from Linville, a quaint town offering a train museum and an historic restaurant serving yummy burgers, malts and sodas. It's perfect for a couple getting away from the……

“We enjoyed our stay. The country atmosphere is nice. The cabin was clean and well stocked. The internet connection works great. If you are trying to decide to stay here pay close attention to the size of the cabin, the rooms and the overall accommodations. This is a small cabin with a small bathroom. There is not a sink in the bathroom; however the kitchen sink is close by with a small mirror. It is comfortable for 2 people.”

“It maybe misunderstandings on our part but we didn't realize that the tents are in someone's backyard in a residential neighborhood. The night we arrived, it was rainy and cold. The tent leaked in several places, one was on the bed so it got soaked. The bathroom is outside with a small, tent material cover over the toilet so when you are sitting, the water drips over your head. I went to a hotel the next night while my boys stayed. They finally gave in and came to the hotel to sleep as it was……
